The Oxford stars look great at a distance when seeing so many of them in mass. The "racing" lights movement is different this year. I am a little surprised that none of the shops went all out the way they did last year. There were some amazing and fabulous Christmas themes on the little shops along the way. Maybe that is another portion of London you have not filmed yet. Regents Street is always lovely with the sparkling Christmas Angels strung across the streets. I love the St. James Angels as well. And the Piccadilly Angels were beautiful as well. Loved the gorgeous Christmas tree in the square there. The greenery wall at the end with the white lights was very nice. It is nice to see the London streets getting dressed up for Christmas. It is always nice seeing the many many small boutique shops that line the beautiful streets. The historical and iconic English phone booth against the white Christmas tree was a great photo moment. Enjoyed this. And I agree with you - the Christmas hanging decoration did have a hodge podge of words. It was as if they wanted to send a Christmas message but had to be careful to "draw within the lines" of "correct verbiage". LOL It is too funny. But that is my opinion. Glad it did not rain on you this year. I bet you had a nice hot coffee or chocolate at the end. Blessings.
Yes, those angels are beautiful and that tree was incredible! Funny how being careful can then just mess everything up - that made me laugh thanks Luana :)
I do like the stars, but feel Oxford Street needs to have some new lights. I think they have them in different formations not just across the street. Love all the different angels and like you said Regents Street angels 😇 never get tired. Did like the lights on South Molton Street, but not a fan of the white trees. Bit of a bit of a disappointment though after that great archway. Loved the multi colored Christmas 🎄 🌳. Those gold decorations on that shop were so pretty. Loved 😍 the Muppets and Kermit the frog 🐸. Selfridges windows looked interesting and colorful. Loved the blue lights at the end. Interesting one which wasn't lit up and the white decorations along with the blue ones. Just can't beat the angels though.
@@LondonVisited You are very welcome. Times are hard here in the US given the drug problems, it’s hard to walk outside not feeling it’s a zombie apocalypse. As a person who likes to frequent London, your videos keeps me sane. It’s great to see such a beautiful city decked out for Christmas and maintained so nicely given challenges. Kudos to the Brits!!
Seems like Oxford St. and the shops are not as done up as they have been in years past. Is it possible some of the streets and shops are still installing the decorations? Maybe you are a tad bit early in shooting your video? I'm from the US and we have nothing compared to London and how the city goes out for the Christmas season.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting - I was hoping that and I've been back this week and all still fairly low key - have found some places and plan to bring these in a video soon! :)
I have been dreaming London since my maturity! I love it!
Thanks for watching :)
Great as always Steve thank you.
Thankyou for this video 😊👍🏻
London just goes all out for the holidays. I love all the lights but I have to say Regent Street angels are my favourite of them all 👼🏽😇
They are special every year 🪽😇😀👍
