Stunning new laundry facility in Kentucky

Advantage Linen, Inc. is a family owned and operated linen supply business in Lexington, Kentucky, which was founded in 1996. Their dedication to quality and service has proven to be a winning combination in the healthcare, hospitality, and food and beverage facets of our industry. Thanks to this dedication, they have experienced a steady, healthy business growth, and as a result they outgrew their facility. This led them to design and build a new ground-up facility, with future growth in mind. From the very early stages of the project, Advantage Linen and JENSEN USA’s Project Design Team worked extremely close to ensure the building was “laundry ready”, taking all foundation and current and future required utilities into consideration. In addition, our Project Management Team was intently involved to ensure the project flowed smoothly and remained on track. The Advantage Linen team was such a joy to work with and were incredibly instrumental in their own success. This is a true partnership.
In 2019, Advantage Linen broke ground and began the construction of their new 40,000² ft (3.716²m) building. JENSEN USA was fortunate to supply the automated Futurail soil sort system and soil rail system, ALPHA by JENSEN TW5-60/16 batch washer, JENSEN SEP60-MD extraction press, (4) JENSEN DT140 batch dryers with JEUS cake breaker, JENSEN Logic Plus spreader/feeder, (2) Classic S folder/crossfolders with Maxstacks, (1) Drape & Store, and (1) Tematic Pro small piece folder.
Their previous facility had no automation, so stepping into this new facility with all of the new JENSEN technology and automation puts them in a great position to control their quality and costs. The plant is designed for additional systems and automation to be quickly and easily added as the need arises.
