Harvey voice change when Louis pushes him is brilliant 🤌🏽
Gabriel Macht added the smallest nuances to his character's words/actions/gestures that were truly brilliant as an actor. He definitely deserved recognition for his role as Harvey.
Still my favorite show of the past 2 years!!!!
Harvey has to take the L on this one. You betrayed your friend, emotionally damaged your friend’s sister, and wanted to deny accountability for it all until certain individuals made you realize you were in the wrong. Great episode 👌🏾
Yeah Harvey was 100% in the wrong in these sequence of events, no defending him.
Facts and I always thought that he had the brother code fully down but he failed miserably. Blemish on his record for sure.
Harvey was so hurtful to Esther. He could’ve been a little nicer about it.
Well, it was triggering him from his childhood. He mentioned that she just got a divorce and has children, then he stopped. Reminded him too much of his situation with his Mom so he put his wall up and shut her out. Plus, she lied (which Harvey loathes) because during the discussion of the lawsuit against her, he claimed she did it to go out with him again and she was defensive of that claim. Then she comes to him later and wants more and Harvey already made his position on it clear. And when Harvey makes his position known, you don't question it. LOL
@@senorgato70 I think that Paula pointed out to him that he had made a promise to Louis. Harvey told Esther he didn’t want to sneak around , and of course, she had no idea what he was talking about. So he acted like he didn’t want to be with her, in a very hurtful way, so he wouldn’t be doing anything behind Louis’ back. He could’ve been kinder when saying no to her. But I also think she shouldn’t have asked him after he already had insulted her about using the case to go out with him again. Right then he made it clear that he didn’t want to have another date. She should’ve let it go just based on his visit to her office - where he was insulting to her to start with.
Harvey is a manwh*re and they're not known for their kindness to women. He treated Esther the same exact way he treats all of his one night stands. IMO he only got with Donna cuz he didn't want to die alone.
you dont need to be nice when rejecting someone. it doesn't matter why he didn't want to go out with her once he says no he isn't interested thats the end of it.
Harvey is used to telling these Babylonian chicken heads to kick rocks. He doesn't really do nice after he hits it. Lol.
This was the most intense sequence in the entire series up to this point. This was about the only time I actually felt bad for Louis since he didn't deserve getting hit by Harvey and was completely justified ripping into him.
He was justified trying to contol a grown woman's love life? He didn't deserve to get punched but he also shouldn't have pushed Harvey first and then trash his childhood that had nothing to do with this
@@Tom_Stevens617you must not have many homies, much less friends in general. You don’t sleep with your homies sister, and especially after you promised not to 😂. You’re clearly a loser who’s never had friends
Harvey made the promise after he had already been with Esther?
Louis instigated it… Harvey retaliated and then Louis tried to continue it and got thrown through the table.. I don’t see how that equals feeling bad for Louis 😅
The only thing that Louis didn’t deserve was getting hit by Harvey, but it comes with a territory with a man who can’t control his emotions and who goes too far case in point Esther was right Louis does not handle everything with Care or with subtlety
Harvey broke the bro code.
No
@@TheFertoledo Explain !!
himym
Louis ain’t a bro, he’s like a cousin
S.4.3.4. Paragraph B: Thou shall not sleep with a bro's sister if he is specifically requested to not sleep with her and the bro agrees.
He was about to tell him sorry but Luis kept gaslighting…
Luis??? 🤣🤣
pause exactly at 9:20 . that is NOT Louis (Rick Hoffman) falling on the table!
Well yeah actors normally don’t do stunts like this, it’s most definitely a stunt double
Aww! .. and someone thinks movies are real and actors play high risk parts when trained stuntmen obviously take the risk on their behalf - how naive!
Entirely possible but how can you even tell.....can't see his face in that shot.
I never understood why Harvey never mentioned the fact that Louis pushed him first. I know he felt remorse for eventually punching Louis, but Louis came at him first.
It was guilt for betraying Louis in the first place.
@@keshav4940 yes, that's true. but it seems after Louis betrayed him and did what he did in front of the partners, Harvey would have pulled out all stops to defend himself. But that's also one of Harvey's strengths as a person.
And how would it be demonstrated? No one would have believed him. It would have been his word against Louis's word.
@@Elisa-gn5nj the same way he could have lied and said Louis tripped and fell into the coffee table that’s how he got a black eye, he’s a lawyer on a lawyer show. Come on now
Because thats not why he punched him
the psychologist is so pretty
She is, but she was so boring. But I did not like all of the therapy scenes with Harvey and Louis.
@@senorgato70 what ??she was right most of the tine. She saw through harvey all the time. The only upsetting thing about her is the fact that she fell for a client that she knew had feelings for someone else.
@@jugadoraaa Whether she was right or not means nothing. The scenes were boring and Harvey and Louis' psychologies were already evident in their day to day scenes. The beauty of TV/movie roles is understanding a character without someone having to spell it out for you like they did with these therapy sessions. We all already knew that Harvey was having panic attacks b/c Donna left him to work for Louis. No need to have a therapist tell us that. We already knew Harvey's issues with his mother, no need for a therapist for that. We all knew Harvey's conflict with his feelings for Donna. No need for a therapist. We all knew Louis was unhinged and unstable, no need for a therapist. To me, it was lazy writing.
@@senorgato70Those scenes were still necessary to build Paula's character.
@@mia989-ms5vo Paula’s character was completely unnecessary and irrelevant.
Paula saw how Harvey felt about infidelity.
She should have known that he would never cheat on her.
Ya but she also knew how he felt about donna so understandable why she was insecure. He liked the kiss, whether he was mad at donna about it or not, thats not something you want your bf to like ha
@@greymoore86And just because she knew who Donna was, how he had panic attacks because of her and ended up in therapy, and that the two of them have feelings for each other shows how mindless, irrational and unethical Paula was
.
ya shes dumb and a bad therapist lol but i get why she was insecure@@ilina84107
Harvey should have never gotten with Paula. It was one of the lowest things Harvey did but Paula was an unethical, insecure, frumpy mess. She was not his type at all. I wish we could delete that storyline.
@@freeinghumanitynowI agree that this relationship was a mess.
However, although I have some issues with Harvey as well, I don't think it's his fault, I blame Paula.
Harvey asked her out, but she was the therapist who knew about his mental health issues and unresolved feelings for Donna, and she should have refused.
She should have offered him professional help to make him see the reality he is denying and not pursue a relationship with him. More every time he tells her "you have feelings for Donna" it pushes him further into denial as we see Harvey desperate to convince Paula that he is wrong and doesn't have feelings for Donna.
Superb acting!
I wonder how many takes it took to get Louis landing on the table right?
I mean Louis did push him first sooooo, I don’t see how it was Harvey’s fault.
Thats not why Harvey punched him tho
@@nomis5097yes it is
@@maralonent6257 He punched Louis because he kept pushing him with verbal and personal insults, not from the push itself
You don't sleep with your client in the first place.
She signed the contract declaring her not an client to Harvey at the end of the episode
Yes, absolutely Right, that the main point... additionally, friend's sister ! 😮
She’s. The. Client. Jesus there are some terrible lawyers on this show
How do you file a counter suit without a client’s sign off?
breach of explicit friendship rule.
Esther is nicest lady!
Louis asked for the bull and he got the horns
I mean technically louis did start it... I always confused by this because louis was the first one to get physical and then he got beat up lol.
Nice
YOU WENT TO HARVEY ⁉️
Top stuff 🔥
Why does it feel that Suits is more about Louis than Harvey
I love Harvey but he was absolutely wrong here. He broke a promise and the BRO CODE
I mean! Luis needs to chill! I mean that’s his sister not his girlfriend! Geez! I find it weird! Do I have to tell a brother that I’m sleeping with his sister 😅
Nah, that's tge bro code and Harvey broke it.
Harvey promised he wouldn’t do it and then did.
Your 100 percent white
This is season?
It’s in the description: Season 5, Episode 7.
That psychologist is gaslighting expert for sure - compare an marriage affair to this promise.
where do they find all these pretty looking people?
Harvey telling Esther that she's a mother of two... that's not very manly for a single mother.
It fits his character because he's certainly not the type to play daddy... has nothing to do with being manly in that moment
Harvey is a cheater here.
9:19
jeti linho orgulho de brico da uma dura na cema de sá de nana😅
Donna is the most annoying character ever.
No Rachel isworse
Then Sheila.🙄
All women except Jessica and Scotty!
Rachel and Mike are annoying
Will you marry me? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, Donna is totally insufferable. Harvey only married her because he didn't want to die alone. After the whole Paula debacle, he came across as really lonely. I knew they'd end up putting him with Donna. He was tired and lonely. Could you imagine marrying someone so emotionally manipulative?
Dona was the most annoying character of the whole series
