      Inspirational until you are plagued with so many ailments that strength and endurance are out of the question. There is nothing to be done. Building mental fortitude to crawl through a guarenteed life of agony is not worth it. Wow.. this is the same exact mentality I developed as a kid after facing bullying from classmates at school and some family. I realized that there will always be a bigger fish, someone stronger and a bigger adversary. I realized that I will always have to face obstacles, and people that did not like me the more I’d grow up. I was only in elementary school, and maybe I was influenced by watching too much Dragon Ball, but deep down I knew that as I’d continue in life things would not get easy. Like Masashi says, you have to realize pain is a part of life, but one must grow to endure it and face it since it simply is a byproduct of life that will show itself during times when you least expect it. Learning to be strong both mentality and physically will allow you to at the very least create some form of advantage since you will be more ready than if you were not constantly maintaining a strong spirit. That’s something I realized when I was about 9-10 years old.

    The thing i understood from this is that mishashi is saying not to take alcohol whenever we feel the pain of life becauae it is basically just us trying to avoid the pain.
    Being able to face the sufferings of life without the consumption of alcohol is truly enduring the life's suffering. And consuming alcohol is just a way to make he pain away temporarily but it will never make us strong enough to face the sufferings without it.
    Surely there are other things too which we take or consume or do to avoid the pain we think we cant endure, but we must face them and become able to see the beauty in them.

    With what I’m going thru rn I definitely needed this. I read Vagabond 3 years ago and I was floored by it. So much so that I even posted some panels of it on my Instagram because of how much it impacted me. Overtime I read some other manga, got into some other stories in general whether it was movies, games, shows, novels, but I’m glad I got this recommended to me to remind me just how good Vagabond actually is and the message behind it. Something I really needed rn😢

    • @joshuapena4684
      @joshuapena4684 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Madara is a great example of a warrior who succumbed to darkness and futility. I believe that means Musashi Miyamoto was more like Hashirama Senju rather then Madara, due to the fact that Hashi was always excited about the future even if he wasn't gonna be around for it, as long as he has his family which is the leaf village, he's happy. Madara was too focused on the fact that all his family was dead. Hashi did have one brother left tho, Madara... Sadly we all know how Izuna died.
