Just wanna say Pete, thank you for keeping this series going!
I'm not really a horror fan, just a lover of cult films and creature features in general, and I look forward to this show every single week. I know for a while you considered discontinuing this show since it's not as popular as the regular music videos but I'm glad you chose to keep it going, with two great regular guests to boot!

Oh, and the plot of the movie you mentioned, where the girl was buried underground and held for ransom, has actually happened in real life a few times. There was a rich NYC businessman who had that done to him in the early 70's, I think. That same plot was actually revisited on the TV soap opera The Young & The Restless back in the 80's, when the character of Lauren, who was supposed to be a "rock singer," was kidnapped by her obsessed manager Shawn, and was put into a similar predicament. There is also the excellent crime thriller film, A Lonely Place To Die, in which something similar happens also.

Nice picks, the Gate didn't use stop motion for the little demons known as minions, they were guys in suits & they used altered perspective to make them appear small, only the master demon at the end & a little swinging stephen dorf were stop motion, a great horror flick for older kids.

I watched again recently and it isn't as good as I remember but still it's nostalgic.

Great show! Descent is really engaging and well done and the Gate is a fun romp. There is also The Prophecy which is a good Christopher Walken movie not to confused with simply Prophecy which I must now see, really liked Chris’ story about the choice between it and Alien that day at the movies - when I saw Alien in the theater at age 14 it had a huge impact! I would gravitate toward Killdozer as it sounds so awesome on paper - a good/bad gem, also called killer/choke, but I don’t need to see it now, thanks! Must also see Street Trash and a few others mentioned. I’m a big fan of this awesome show, thank you Pete, Chris and Rich!

Yes! Just what I need, some recommendations.
I just watched Jesús Franco's Count Dracula. Meh, it was ok. Then I started The Satanic Rites Of Dracula, and I had to turn that stinker off within the first 10 minutes.
Wow Killdozer. Foretold the real life story of that guy in Colorado who bought a bulldozer and then custom built it into a killdozer tank, and took out the town that was fucking with him. Don't Tread On Me.
Dark Night Of The Scarecrow! I just recently rewatched this. It holds up, especially for a tv movie.
I recently watched a made for tv trilogy, Dead Of Night, that was weird but ok. Not to be confused with the vampire flick Dead Of The Night. And I watched a made for tv quad, House Of The Dead, which was entertaining, but pretty cheesy too.
Then I watched, and Chris will love this one, Vampire Ecstasy. Holy Smokes! The T&A and borderline porn is crazy in this one. This 70's flick would never get made today.
John Carpenter's Cigarette Burns from Masters Of Horror is one of the only episodes of that series I can truly recommend.
