This is one of the outer islands of the Cook Islands (there are 15 islands) but we are living on the main island of Rarotonga - and yes I totally recommend visiting! Would love to meet up! Only flights available at the moment through are through NZ…
Thank you for the virtual "tour" of Mangaia. My family and I used to live there for about 2 years from 1990 t0 1992 when I worked as a UNDP-VolunteerTaro Production Officer with the Department of Food and Agriculture. Lots of beautiful memories with wonderful Mangaia/Cook Island Maori, I want to visit in the not too distant future.
Hello the Steiner. They know me and I'm grateful you got to experience my home Land. The Steiners have just been in the Cook Islands Rarotonga since beginning of this year. Mrs Steiner is recently employed has a teacher in Rarotonga and got the opportunity to experience not just only Mangaia but Atiu, Mauke, Mitiaro.
That prayer was awesome!! Just curious are either Gavin or Sarah part Kuki? All your pronunciation for things are so good putting the correct accent to pronounce the words, really impressed.
Auau Enua represent 🙌 Love this brings back memories of our tere in 1989 especially the food 😋 Hoping to see Mangaia again next year. Much love to you all❤
Another beautiful island. I know Kimi from BT rentals came from there. Do you think you will go to the Northern Group.? They are a bit of a flight. But spectacular. Those black pearls in Manihiki. I would like to visit. Maybe one day.
It's a lot different to the other islands, since there aren't so much sand beaches. Hopefully you guys enjoyed your short stay there and my people took good care of you
