I can't seem to find the comment to answer it now but someone was asking if these are original designs. To confirm yes they are original :) They're the same style as our map books thus will work with those products if you have them as an added bonus.
Tokens are numbered so you can organize them better. Also, you can sticky-tack them onto your maps or GM notes, so you can prepare your encounter ahead of time, instead of sifting through a big pile of stuff!
Looks absolutely brilliant! Especially tiering the locations such as the pub etc.. Just bought the Giant Book of Battlemaps (Volume II) for my eldest 's Birthday and I can see me already teeing this one up for his next! (His birthdays shortly after Christmas) 😬🤦♂️... Just know he's gonna love the Battlemaps book! 😁
1) where can I buy these products in Australia? 2) re: cut out tokens - why cut out? Personally would prefer pop out (like board game tokens) 3) I’m in love with your products and can’t wait to get my hands on them.
Hi Dressy! We went for cut outs as we can so so many more into the box :) They will be available from your local gaming store or favorite online retailer.
This will be straight to retail, our next Kickstarter will be for a Wilderness themed modular book set in the same style as the Dungeon and Towns & Taverns.
So glad to see modular. I mostly play wargaming with One Page Rules which is a 3D printed or papercraft tabletop wargame. I would love to even see a 50% smaller version of this for mini-RPG and mini-tabletop. I'm surprised more folks in the D&D space don't do tiny scale because it feels more immersive and gives you so much more table space, even play on a coffee table!
Would you ever consider an entire product based around the cut out terrain? I know you do the static clings as additional terrain features for your battle mat books, but I love the double-sided use of tokens like the tavern building. I fully understand if this isn't an avenue you'd like to pursue, just thought I'd voice an idea.
We have done some sheets of cut out double sided terrain which were included in our very first Map Book Kickstarter. Currently we've got the static clings and the cut out tokens here. We're getting some lovely feedback on the double sided terrain so we'll have a look at doing something going forwards :)
I like the package but the tree scattered around the wildness seems to be in the way. I preferred sticker. Big battle map book seems better for a more vanilla theme. Also would great if can come with some ready to run adventure.

Was there a reason that you guys chose to place a PC token on the opposite side to a monster token? In the old 4e ones you had identical images one in full colour and one ''battle damaged'' called bloodied. Its a shame you have the tokens the way you have, everything else looks so perfect
Hi Badger Burns, The tokens are all about multiple options and choices. We didn't want to do the same design front and back as that's less token designs. The combinations vary and there are lots of options.
Looks great. Will look out for this next year. Will work nicely with the giant book of mats.

These are gonna be useful, especially with the thick D&D Dungeon Tiles. Especially the castle and wilderness tiles.
