It's insane in the GTA. The house we owned in Richmond Hill cost us under $50,000 in 1976. They're now being listed at $1.4 million. Our apartment in Toronto before the house was a nice one bedroom, two bath in a low rise near Spadina and St. Clair. Rent, hydro and underground parking set us back $205 a month.
