I'll probably be the last person to comment om this video, but man how my life has past since this game. Just playing with my siblings on my GameCube I got for Christmas. It where my first step into gaming truly began. Back in 08? 09? Well that was what made me a gamer and this game is what got me into racing games which I thought at the time were cutting edge and so realistic. And that soundtrack which opened me into the world of music. Now I'm 17 about to enter college and I'm no longer that kid who knew nothing and just wanted to play his videogames. Now I'm something more and I get to explore what I get to do and can do in life. Thank you video games for help creating apart of me and allowing me to create so many memories and listen to so many great soundtracks and osts. I'll be forever thankful.
I am now the last person to comment on this video! HAHA! I HAVE THWARTED YOU!............But no seriously, If you really truly feel that way about video games and you miss the feeling, Might I recommend passing this feeling onto someone who is closer and younger than you? Like maybe a younger sibling, niece/nephew or just a young friend of yours? It'll make you proud like a parent to witness someone experiencing the same fun you had.
I am now last Although I don't have many memories of this game specifically, I do miss the times where I didn't have to play games by myself because everyone is online nowadays meanwhile I'm still playing the gamecube and nobody wants to play racing games with me.
Select 2 is like seeing the car from Select 1 undergoing testing. Ironing out links, getting the aerodynamic devices just right, running it out, testing the systems, and putting it through its paces. Really dailing it in. Touchy, deep reaching, and ever pushy.
Probably one of the most underappreciated games. R Racing is a special gem that never got a chance. I remember reading reviews trashing this game saying how it's " just Gran Turismo clone" what's sad is that Namco wanted to make a new series of racing games. R Racing was going to get a sequel and possibly a franchise. But Namco got scared at reviews and never went back to this little gem. Sad but true, even reviewers were trash back then.
