He actually spent most of his “childhood years growing up in NZ on his marae from a very young infant till about 16 years old moved back to Australia entered Australian idol at 18 and won right after he turned 19……

My 3 sons were born in Australia but because my wife and I are kiwis that did not give my sons Australian citizenship. So they have New Zealand passports.
