Another stunning card another adorable use of birdhouses. You and your creativity NEVER cease to amaze me (do you ever sleep or do you lay awake coming up with all of your fab projects) - Ink & ink blending, Copic Markers, Zigs and now the TH Distress Watercolor pencils, there is no medium you can't or don't rock (do I sound a bit jealous? probably so and I totally am and own that in an admiring kind of way) ♥your projects !!!
I just love this bird/birdhouse set! I wonder if after coloring and water blending die cut images, if you can run them through the embossing to strengthen the detail you lost when water coloring over those pencils? Such a pretty card!! ♥️
When you lost the definition of the birdhouse and foliage by using water on the colored pencil image, did you try running your card back thru the embossing folder/machine? I'm just wondering if it's possible to regain embossed detail after water coloring? This turned out SO cute! I originally thought the bird house was somewhat boring but you've changed my mind! It looks GREAT! TFS

Beautiful card. Thank you for using the distress pencils. They are wonderful and the more I see them used the more I use mine and the more comfortable I am becoming. Birdhouses are also my favorite cards!

So soooo stunning! I could watch you, using these products over and over again. The birdhouse and birds are phenomenally colored, the background embossed panel is just gorgeous... Ohhh I love this so so much.
Really love these new embossing folders and thanks for the video on how to use them. I wish there were a choice of buying the embossing folders alone without having to buy the dies (just as the stamp sets can be bought separately or with the matching dies). This is a lovely product, but it's price point is the same as an entire stamp set. In fact, you could buy a Tim Holtz, deeply etched rubber stamp set for this price. Hope to see these offered as separate products in the future.

Hi Nichol, What pencil sharpener are you using for your Distress Watercolor pencils? Since they are woodless I definitely do not want to be wasteful with the pencils. This video was very informative. Your card is very beautiful.
I don't have a Big Shot but on the Spellbinders Platinum I use only the embossing folder with the back packaging for the embossing folder as a shim on the platform to get a good impression. No plates.
@@NicholSpohrLLC Thank you Nicole, that is what I should have done. You would not believe my embossing folder. Didn’t run it completely through. It is now sitting in a sink of warm water clamped with binder clips. Hope it works!

No, I it wouldn't be the same. The pencils I used are watercolor so they blend with water.
