What a game between 2 excellent teams. I know there’s no consolation for finishing second, but congratulations to Mililani for an excellent effort and a great season. Again Big Red brought home the bacon to the North Shore. Looking forward to next season and another battle between these 2 excellent programs.
Thank you Mr Laul this game was funny. Mililani not getting the ball on the kick offs and losing the ball on multiple plays and even injuring a kahuku boy for targeting. Me as a Mililani boy this game I was voting for kahuku to win.
@@k00kz77seems like most school do that now days even UH starting to do it!! Just play the game, don’t show boat, play with respect and discipline! No days so much personal fouls even when losing they still acting! Coaches don’t have control and discipline on their team!

Two talented teams. Two great coaching staffs. Two communities hungry for a state championship to brag about. Too may complaints and excuses from both sides. The better team may not have won (as many think) but there is a saying that goes "You do not have to be the best team, you just need to be the best team for that game" or something like that. Never fear because most likely these two will meet again in the state championship again. It will be great to see Public schools battling for the championship more often to eat away at the ILH mystique that has ruled our state forever. See you all next year.
For Mililani, bad clock management near the end. Terrible special teams. Trojans you lost by 2, and missed 2 XP. Kahuku stayed aggressor, made the bigger plays, and called a good game. Keep playing ball, and go win it. The winner did that.
Shit happens. Cannot control what happens only the players can. Only easy for mililani d to pick up kahuku’s playbook. They literally only get like 6 plays. As well for mililani it was simple mistakes and miscues. Reading these comments, all y’all just shut up cuz if mililani won, y’all kahuku fans would be yappin too. No matter what school you go or where you from, there’s no difference. Going always have discipline and nonchalance players who think they all that. Just congratulate both teams for their hard work and success throughout the season to make it to states. And for that comment saying “always going be Kahuku vs Oahu” that’s such a ridiculous thing to say. Kahuku literally get players who no even live that side or even born and raised. Yeah mililani maybe recruit. But how’s this. Diezel Kamoku, transfer. Manoa Hallums, transfer. Aiden Manutai, transfer. Tuli Tagovailoa-Amosa, transfer. Terahiti Wolfe, transfer. These boys work hard to get to the next level but does Oahu get the scouts or big name coaches keeping an open eye out on these boys like the mainland does? Not really right. Just sickening how some y’all people feel man
Hallums, Wolfe, and Manutai are RED RAIDER GENERATION. Their roots are Red Raider which is why they came back to play where their family comes from. That’s what we mean! Families leave the north shore but send their kids back to where it all started. Tagovailoa and Kamoku came to us.
