For sale is a 1979 Mercedes 6.9 with roughly 170K Miles. This vehicle has had one owner for the majority of its life and remained in Auburn, CA. Originally it must have been imported to the US from Europe as it’s a Euro spec vehicle. The exterior of his vehicle retains all its original paint. No major previous accidents, dents, or rust. This is a very solid car from top to bottom. The interior is in very good shape for its age and very original. The car was being regularly maintained and driven up until the lady’s husband passed away a few years ago. After that she didn’t drive it as much and decided to sell it. Mechanically the car is in pretty good shape. I’m sure it’s due for a good service. But the motor sounds very healthy, runs great, and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Suspension seems to be fully functional, and holds its stance. Again, I’m sure it could use some services and maintenance but overall it’s very drivable and doesn’t need anything urgently. Climate control works, but A/C does not blow cold. Could need a recharge.
