The thing I have noticed is that this animator has the skill to animate so as to mimic real life, or even if it isn't, he tries to make it as human as possible, much like Studio Ghibli in general. His animations feel seamless just as something out of live film, so full of life.
His animation is so "realistic", elastic and smooth.. This is reminds me Takeshi Honda animation. I like it. By the way - Nishio is one of the best Naruto illustators.
His character animations feel like they have realistic weight to them and he also adds a lot of subtle movements to really sell it. It's so good that it looks like rotoscopy sometimes, specially in the GTO opening, like the way he shifts his weight slightly to the sides when aiming at the mirror.
It's Kinda Ironic when you consider the person who was behind Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, was inspired by the style of Tetsuya Nishio to then after, work on the same series who he was the main inspiration for the genesis of the story It's goes in full circle
Yeah makes me wonder what his works process looks like, maybe he analyses videos or just people outside, he must a good actor with such an understanding of human behavior!

Thanks man. I like the teaser, I like animation that has a lot of weight to it so the movie looks promising to me. I'm not very familiar with anything Tatsuya Nagamine's done before. Shintani's style reminds me of Naoki Tate's. I'm not a big fan of that style of animation but I think his sequences are still pretty solid and based on his work in the trailer he looks like a good animation director.
Takashi hashimoto already confirmed that he will be in this super ball 2018 movie, I guess you can hear the name of that animator, even Yoshimichi kameda said that he likes the new dragon ball super character design and reminds us of the namek saga and freezer although it is not known if it will be in the movie but I would love to see it
