My favourite hero in Mobile Legends is Hylos. I have a relatively slow reaction and hence the fast finger type of heroes are not suitable for me. I like Hylos because it is simple to understand and it allows me to focus on the flow of the game instead of the hero's technical execution.
My playstyle is to use it as a Roamer or the EXP lane as a second choice. I generally like to help out the jungler in the early game to get his buffs before sticking to our mid-lane mage to rotate and help out in the gold lane. My opinion is that the EXP lane heroes are difficult to heal as most of them are fighters and has some kind of self-sustainability, hence i rarely roam to the EXP lane.
My highest rank achieved is Mythical Immortal at 138 stars and Global Rank 4 as a Hylos. I play solo queue most of the time and occasionally duo or trio with online friends on my friend list. My solo queue win rate is around 58-60%.
My choice of emblem is the Common Emblem because it gives hybrid regeneration. Mana regeneration is important to me as Hylos because it is not optimal to cast skills using HP as a Hylos because you will not be able to tank a lot of damage in the late game.
My talents used:
Agility - 4% movement speed
Wilderness Blessing - 10% bonus movement speed in Jungle or River
Concussive Blast - AOE magic damage on next basic attack.
These talents allow me to always have mana regeneration and superior movement speed when roaming and I will be able to kite and juke the enemy heroes to waste their skills on me and be able to weave in and out of battles.
The Item Builds:
Warrior Boots (when there is a fast hitting marksman) / Tough Boots (When there are a lot of crowd control heroes) / Rapid Boots (When there are heroes without CC but has slow effects)
Dominance Ice - to reduce healing or sustain
Thunderbelt - slow on basic attack and grow hybrid defense indefinitely.
Blade Armor - against most fast hitting marksman
Guardian Helmet - fast hp regeneration outside of battle
Antique Cuirass - against heroes that uses skills as main source of damage
Radiant Armor - against mages with multiple instances of magic damage
Twilight Armor - against burst sources of damage such as Aldous, Lesley, Dyrroth.
Cursed Helmet - against squishy enemy line-up

I, too, think CoD is situational. Most of my games in Mythic now do not really have CoD, as I prefer to have additional defensive items to sustain and tank all the damage, and rather let my team do the damage output instead. Plus, if I can sustain longer whilst I am using Ring of Punishment, my damage could theoretically be higher with less risk of dying so quickly.
At the end of the day, its all about your play style and how you adapt to the current situation.

Yes..Guardian helmet + cursed helmet..with max level..not even any squishy hero want to go near hylos and with common emblem, i can keep spamming ring of punishment during teamfight without worried running out of mana or hp.. A true punching bag for team because that's what tank supposed to be👍🏻
You get faster mana Regen and health with basic common emblem?

Cod will
1) increase, skill 2 damage + cursed helmet damage + thunderbelt damage.
2) Give 1.8k Hp to sustain
3) Give both physical and magical defense. In full stack will have defense of 2 item
4) Replenish mana or hp when become low.
Great Second item, First is thunderbelt.

And obviously having more mana means you can use skill 2 longer which is the main reason why i get cod before thunderbelt.
I still use CoD+Thunderbelt. Not only CoD regens are great, but the stacked hybrid defense could be converted to Thunderbelt true damage. So I use it for the bonk, not for skill 2.
Agree, that is a good combo for the thunder belt. The hybrid defense at full stacks contribute 72*2 true damage. Good viewpoint. Thanks!

There is no defense item that can increase the damage of Hylos ring. Not even queen wings. You have to use magic pen boots, genius wand, wishing lantern, divine glaive for that (troll build)

We don't buy cod for its damage, we bought it for its hybrid def stack and its 1800 hp (with hylos passive)
@@enkawla. Valid point. The purpose of the experiment is to find out how much magic power adds to Skill 2’s damage and not to evaluate the defensive values of Clock of Destiny. Anyway it adds 1,600 HP and not 1,800. Cheers.
I am using since 5 years ago because of the 2nd skill of hylos the damage with curse helmet is crazy.

Try this :clock/domice/helmet/twilight/oracle ,heal emblem, favor blessing and heal spell , at late game nothing can kill you ,unlimited heals! if enemy got sustain dmg mage such as lylia swap oracle for radiant
My personal opinion is that it gets countered easily by Dominance Ice and Glowing Wand which reduces our healing.
It not about the damage it about the survivability, With CoD it give him hybrid def for every damage dealt... With 800 mana which increase his HP by 1.5. THE DAMAGE IS JUST A PLUS. People forgot Hylos still squishy of got not def and res
What the point of a tank dealing damage but die from two hit?
Valid viewpoint, in the video, it was mentioned the focus was on the magic power from the item, and not for clock of destiny as a defense item.
Clock of destiny + cursed helmet + glowind wand + thunder belt

if u build glowing wand then what about dominance ice he give atk spd anti heal reduction...
also anti heal iteam doesn't stack...
@@legendlucifer1105 Glowing Wand’s 75 magic power will add about 15 magic damage to Hylos Skill 2. 400 HP and 5% Movement speed. The unique passive will damage enemy for 1.5% of their max hp, it is easy to trigger this effect using Hylos Skill 2. Yes the anti-heal effect does not stack if you have both dominance ice and glowing wand.
COD does help with thunderbelt passive damage though from the stacks given from hylos 2nd skill right?
But yeah his 2nd skill doesnt scale very well with items, good information.
Your point is valid. It does help, but under conditional situations to deal extra 144 true damage for thunder belt basic attack due to having COD.
1. Hylos level 15
2. 6 stacks of COD at 12 hybrid defense each.
Only when these 2 conditions are fulfilled, COD contributes an additional 144 true damage on basic attack for TB.
Can you content hylos full slow item like corrosion scyte , ice wand , at dominance ice .. I used those item for trolling

@@CorgiTVGaming thanks man i feel frustrated at times u win one and lose one. Sometimes im tired im to blame but i always match up with troll teamates and those ego of thier roles haha. Life as a tank is hard
It is part of the solo queue experience. I get stuck on the same stars at times as well. Maintain a positive mindset. Every game you can play your best and still lose, but most importantly, be consistent and always be at your best so you increase your chances.

But hylos is tankier with it. So a little less damage but more annoying staying until end of clashes

Thunder Belt + COD can do additional 144 true damage each strike. Still has it uses but my personal opinion is that it is more situational.
Yes, glowing wand will hurt this additional health too. Good point.
Now video why tanks feel so squishy in current meta 😅 I pick mage like Change and melt tanks. Imo skypiercer, new glowing wand (that trivializes regen, don't like that change), wishing lantern take a toll.
Also dude do jg Hylos purple smite does around 1k dmg or more.
Yeah there are many tank killing equipment out there. This is why the enemy analysis and item build sequence is emphasized in my videos. Thanks for the viewpoint!
can tank hylos use war cry?
my opinion is it is not useful because of 8% only for that short duration. The concussive blast provides a greater benefit and it scales with HP which is a relevant stats since we build defensive items with HP.
