December Submissions (your favorite song of 2024): forms.gle/zYxQSHFoG5aEyU1D7 (Open until December 15th) 2024 Monstercat Awards, Part 1: forms.gle/vByRCi1i1PdSAApS6 (Open until December 12)
Monstercat is cooking lately with the releases, this year has been a BLAST so far, and I can't wait to see what 2025 brings to the table (knowing that rusko is releasing an ep next year is already giving me good vibes)
Possible unpopular opinion: Gravity is my favorite song of the month, and one of my favorites of the year, that energy it transmits, the drops and the vocal parts, everything is a masterpiece, for me it's a 10/10. I have already played it more than 20 times and I don't get tired of it, I would be excited to see it at BO2024. What's it, thank you for making these videos, I like them a lot, greetings from spain
Personal note: I absolutely hated this month. The near-lack of good tunes made me kinda angry and I kept getting disappointed by the releases. Especially on Uncaged. Best: Letting Go, Open The Pit, DABADABADABA, Gravity, Heaven Knows Worst: Never Fall, Wassup, High Octane, Don't Stop, if you wanna
HIGHLIGHTS: Wassup, SWEAT!, Gravity, Endless In Between, Redshift, In The Echo, Letting Go, Heaven Knows LOWLIGHTS: Never Fall, S.O.S, if you wanna, DABADABADABADABA SURPRISES: Barely Alive debut, k?d debut, Bensley return, Pixel Terror return, Rusko debut, Kayzo return, Riot Ten decent track
18. belly button shirt XP (2/10) 17. Meh (i n s t i n c t) (6/10) 16. Disappointing (5/10) 15. Unnecessarily same (6.5/10) 14. NO SH*T THIS IS AWESOME (9.9/10) 13. a (6/10) 12. Wassup (6/10) 11. GG Magree moment (7/10) 10. Dabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadaba/10 9. Anxism over (7/10) 8. Heartwarming (9/10) 7. Slapper (8/10) 6. G??d (7.5/10) 5. BANGER (9.5/10) 4. Nostalgic (9/10) 3. Dopeeeee (9.5/10) 2. Clean af (9.25/10) 1. Simply great (9/10)
18. This is your average Sabai track, never really liked any of his tracks. 17. I'm not a huge techno fan, but I was expecting this song to be something different. 16. WATT ruined Barely Alive. I LOVED the songs that were made by Matt and Willie, but why do they make WATT different from them? I want them to reverse back. I consider "CASKET CASE EP" the last release of the Barely Alive era. 15. This is worse than the original. 14. This is better than all of Riot Ten's other tracks, probably because this is DnB and not Dubstep. I like the vocal samples. 13. I don't consider this your average Vicetone track! 12. This is REALLY heavy DnB, probably "Movements" level. Did any of you know that there's an EP coming from this guy in 2025? 11. Probably the same style from her "Dichotomy EP" 10. I was expecting this to be heavy dubstep, like the Barely Alive track. 9. Wow, no heavy dubstep track from Sullivan King! 8. This should have been uploaded on Instinct channel. It's your average EP/LP closer track, should have been used in Butterfly Effect. 7. Heavier for Pixel Terror, yep, even harder than Arcadia. Surprised this is not on Dubstep uNk channel. 6. I don't listen to any of the artists, never even heard of them until this release. It's fine though. 5. Heavier for Crankdat standards. 4. This is your average F.O.O.L synthwave track 3. Sounds similar to "Nervous System" but a little heavier. 2. This isn't my taste of DnB, different for Bensley though. 1. Diet Silk. The names this month are making Monstercat as big as Motown.
Here’s my Ranking: WORST - k?d & Jonathan Mendelsohn - Endless In Between - GG Magree - Don’t Stop (feat. 18. 3/10 - Literally insert what you said 17. 8/10 - For aome reason, this is super catchy, I don't like the vocals though 16. 2/10 - vocals are surprisingly weak, hands up part is nice but the riddim drops are awful 15. 2/10 - Made the original so obnoxious here 14. 7/10 - Repeat what you said 13. 6/10 - Repeat what you said, growing on me, still kinda boring 12. 8/10 - this could have been a 10 ngl but the second drop being the same is a turnoff 11. 3/10 - techno part kinda saves it ngl but it all feels so weak, amateur and lackluster 10. 6/10 - Repeat what you said 9. 9/10 - N U T T Y 8. 8/10 - A little generic but it's some beautiful dnb anyway 7. 10/10 - ABSOLUTE SLAPPER, THE DROPS ABSOLUTELY FK HOLY SHIT 6. 10/10 - My favorite mcat song this year alongside Stealing Fire, beautiful 5. 10/10 - ABSOLUTE SLAPPER HOLY JESUS WHAT IS GOING ON AAAA- 4. 9/10 - epic as hell, basically a funky version of Damage 3. 8/10 - a bit dry but it still goes pretty hard 2. 9/10 - Super smooth and fun dnb fr 1. 10/10 - I love the old-school Kaskade style so much and this song is just pure ear candy Good month
This was more of a run-of-the-mill month that didn't really match with the likes of September and October. It also shouldn't have been such an average month given all the star power returning to the label. Not bad, by any means, though. Best: Heaven Knows, Gravity, SWEAT! Worst: Redshift, Wassup, Don't Stop, You Want Me VIP

Somedays it just feels like DABADABADABADABADABA
I don't keep up with the label anymore, but its fun to see these ranking videos.
Thank you dude!
You should give the label a try again! It may surprise you 😉
Same #1. It's already at 500K views on Spotify btw, so yeah it's already doing big numbers.

Based #1. Deadass forgot the Bensley song even existed, but it's pretty good.
