UA863 777-300 SFO-SYD Landing

Approach and landing onto 34L 2022-11-03. Approaching from the east, instead of turning onto 34L we flew upwind then in an arc to go downwind before turning base then final. Some nice view of the city including Opera House and Bridge.

A good view of most of the Sydney metro area. Most people who take take off and landing videos from Sydney pay no attention to how much Sydney sprawls.

About the 10.27 mark. I panned back to the wing to watch the spoilers deploy when the main gear touched down.
