Everytime you installed mods that changes in IMG archives, you should delete CINFO.BIN & MINFO.BIN. Please note it Edit: You only do that in 2.00, in 1.08 doesn't need to do that since it doesn't generate those files on that version.

Nah, I think because you didn't replaced the dff files. It won't get crash, if you installed it properly. All of my mods are tested before it's release, so the mod should not having a issues before uploading the mod.
You need to replace those dff files into your gta3.img archive to make the house doesn't have missing stuffs and also the data folder must replaced to your data folder
