How do you use this with a regular swift? I recently received mine, and I put the yarn on my swift as usual, but because it sits above the winder, the yarn keeps popping out of the notch/tensioner. Can anyone tell me if there is any way to remedy this, like where to put the swift in relation to the winder so I can get it to work? Thanks.
Hello 😊 I have purchased your costal crush crochet top on ribblr and I'm a little confused with the colour changing. Do you carry the 3 colours for each row? Or cut and reattach each time? Or something completely different? 😅
Hi kristie, thank you for your order! It is a little tricky to pull off that color change pattern without cutting the yarn for each color change. In reality, I tried to carry them up when I could but most of the time I cut and reattached as needed. Hope that helps!
@@TheSnugglery it does help thank you, I've done a bit of carrying and a bit of cutting but just wanted to find out from the designer what you had done :) Thanks again!!
I had never heard of this before, but it seems to be all the rage on Amazon currently. I think Boye might have made an electric yarn winder for home use, but it was a smaller-capacity model, and I never tried it myself (although I did see it in big-box craft stores).
What a nice way to be able to store the yarns not fully used in projects..❤
I purchased this style of elec winder and it’s such a time saver ❤️❤️❤️
I got mine for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I have about 20 skeins of chenille yarn and it is doing a great job windin
Love the concept, but yarn winding is like therapy for me. It's just so satisfying! 😅
Wow I'm sold, thanks for this video!
Thanks for showing this
Got mine for Christmas. Love it!
Thank you a great tutorial and I’m buying the device❤
This looks fantastic. I wonder how it does with fingering weight yarn in a swift 😜

Thank you
It can be use with an umbrella swift winder?
I have had problems using this with the yarn swift. Yarn spun into a ball but inside the wound ball it was all tangled.
Neat machine, but any way to make the yarn cake tighter?? Thank you!!
I’m been looking at this ball winder
Could it handle t-shirt yarn?

I love the table, where did you get it?
Same here! I’ve been Googling like crazy for an hour because I have to get one of those, lol - please post if you find out where to get one :)

You used a Carin 1lb but you said that it can handle up to 10oz. I'm confused. Was the Caron not 1lb?
What is the white ring do?
I want one! But part of me knows my lazy ass is just gonna hand-wind and have this collecting dust in another room 😂
Price plz
Way too expensive on Amazon UK - nearly £100. I will continue using my noisy, awkward manual winder.
I dont have any winder. I have two hands 😂😂😂
Went from $20 to $70 since black friday.
Bummer
Damn!
It's $56 right now. Lots of Amazon listings go up and down constantly.
Total garbage you can’t return. Used mine only a few times and it BURNED out. It was $60 I can’t get back. Get a Stanwood!
i bought 1. don't like it. i like to wind my cakes tight. with this, if you put any resistace to it, it stops the motor. just my opinion.
