Interestingly enough HSR was a first major role for a good few VAs in the English cast. Hoyo’s casting team seems to be a joy to work with too considering how close the VAs in both this and Genshin have been to their respective characters. Aside from one incident w/ Tighnari’s old VA and instances genshin’s player base being full of people incapable of being rational about anything, I never heard any genuine complaints from the VAs themselves.
Aside from a few weak links (Marth, Clara, Herta, which honestly, could just be the fault of weak direction), the dub for HSR is pretty good considering how many newcomers there are.

I feel like the en va kafka "boom" hits stronger than the jp va because the en va makes your attention on her and her voice since it's so distinctly clear (makes it feel like her "boom" animation feels slower than normal), while the jp va makes your attention on the after explosion.
I fell for Japanese voice because it has that playfulness in her, English feels like she doesn’t care at all, Japanese feels like she enjoys her mind games. Especially I felt it with that boom before they changed it
Or because you're biased, pfft. English sounds way better here, bud. And this is coming from someone who likes JP dub too. English is more sexy & attractive & alluring while the JP is literally the typical onee-san or okaa-san voice that you hear in every anime, lmfao.
