Toughest test yet against a solid team. Payton Wilson was drafted to prevent the long runs Dobbins can produce. Great game to employ a three ILB set. Glad to see Rodney back and really hope we get him involved in the offense. I'd like him to push ahead of Connor who's looking more and more like he just doesn't fit on the 53 due to his lack of physicality.
YES! "Hot Rod" needs to be in the offense CATCHING deep slants... #3-#4 per game 65yards.
Thanks Alan, I've been telling naysayers that the only way the Steelers lose those first two games, is if they turn the ball over. They took care of the football, won time of possession, and let their defense (and the kicker with the golden foot) do the rest. We know Arthur Smith and Tomlin game plan differently when the opponent dictates such changes. But you're absolutely right, we're developing our QB2 on the fly, have injuries on the O-line, and quite frankly, aren't scaring anyone with our WR's, other than Pickens, so yeah, give me a win anyway you can. I haven't lost an once of confidence in Arthur Smith based on the gameplan thus far.

You should break down all pass plays on the bronco game and show us where you see 88 running open 4 or 5 times deep or at all. There was one play I saw where they dropped coverage on him and he was wide open. These are the things that make it feel like you just want Russ. But maybe you saw more, than just show us on the film.

Pruitt is a big part of passing game as far as plays running routes seems to be getting more then Hayward?

Man, it's hard to Broderick Jones in at left tackle when Dan Moore seems to be crushing it. I think I saw how PFF had him 3rd best pass protector in the league so far. As a Madden Franchise veteran, I always love to trade people who will leave for draft picks. I know the Steelers won't trade Dan mid-season, but if Broderick got healthy, and Dan was expendable, what kind of draft collateral would Dan Moore bring in as a trade deadline asset?

Just look at what Caleb Williams is going through in Chicago and think about JF. JF can lead a team w a great defense to a SB. However PIT NEEDS a Wr 2 and 3

This is the offense Tomlin wants. Make no mistake. Look at the passing charts the past three seasons....tells you how risk averse Tomlin is and why the Steelers are football philosophically flawed.
They'll never win anything of substance again, under coach Cool Shades.

22 has gotten roughly 4X the carries as 30, and 30’s yds/carry are roughly 20% higher than 22. Thoughts on why we’re not feeding 30 more?
30 will be there next year. 22 can take the beating as long as we are winning.

Najee is a power back that takes wear and tear and is unfazed throughout the year. Trying to win games with a backup Qb requires ball stability, which Najee provides. Also, Jaylen was nursing an injury week 1. More so, it’s like the James Conner/bell dynamic. Conner as the RB2 averaged like 7 YPC when bell was there. If Warren was the feature back that number would decrease significantly
@mattmcgrath2965 I don't care if he is a power back. They all have a shelf life. Last year he led the league in touches. Some thing they did to bell.

@@verginithe They MUST finish the sell of swapping out QB's... IF the fanbase revolts (Remembering the 120 Passer Rating & two 35 point games Mason Rudolph put up) IT might bring down Mike T... Especially if Fumble Fields keeps scoring UNDER 20 points.

The problem with the Steelers offense is they only have 1 WR and a stable of back-up RBs.

haven't done their DUE DILLIGENCE & at a minimum watched the Justin Fields vs Russell Wilson duel LAST SEASON!

I watched him put up 26 passing TDs and 8 Int with 3,200 passing yards last year 😂 so I think it’s safe to assume he is better
