Just one song has made me fall in love with this band. Holy hell this is just perfect. This is like if Circa Survive and Mars Volta had a jazz lovechild. The composition, the enjoyment, the groove in the bass. Everything is perfect.

@@colbypeters8219 Hey are you the drummer? If so, props on being able to sing and drum so well at the same time. I listened to the whole album just now, it's really good! Fun to hear what you did with Warning Signs --> Colors :). I also really appreciate that the album is structured to be listened through in one go, that's quite uncommon in playlist-society these days but I really like it. My critique would be that every song tastes very similar, I would have liked more variety in tempo / moods. The journey as a whole is a bit monotone for me. I do like the way some of the song transitions are spacious and ambient, intro / outro of the album too, that's kinda cool. The middle of the songs are all a bit the same to me, up-tempo, very dense and filled with progressions. It gets a little tiring for me to listen to attentively, I would have liked to hear some simplicity, focus on just melody, etc. as a way of varying from the heavy stuff
This is currently my favorite track. I listen to it several times a day, and simply can't get it out of my mind. Well done sirs, very well done indeed!

I feel that's definitely intentional. Listen to the lyrics of the song. "I clearly am full of life and ignoring the warning signs we will rise we will stand on the edge tonight out of sight out of mind when we roll the dice full of life and ignoring the warning signs" There's probably a strong element of stress they've got going on that they're trying to communicate through the music, along with a ton of other things as well. I really liked the way this song spoke to me.
My new favorite song. Amazing musicians, beautiful vocals, spot on arrangement. I can think of a dozen more adjectives to use to try and describe this piece but they would fall short of giving it it's do. Great tune.

Same thing happened with me. At first listen the vocals threw me for a bit of a loop. But I as i kept listening to other songs by this band i kept coming back to this track and i started to totally dig it. I dont know this trend exists - but so many prog bands (although this band is much more than just prog. at least by classic standards. maybe by modern standards what this band does could be considered prog) have lead singers that i do not like at first. Rush, Yes, Dream Theater - but the music is god damn good that i keep listening and eventually develop a taste for the vocals.

This direction may not be precisely what you, as an artist, would hope for and when is capitalism usually conducive for artist's whims, hmm? Anyway, that targeted advertisement or purposed packaging may put food on the table and open more doors for ya. Perhaps collaboration with youtube content producers like Dr. BrainTickler, (my thought porn misc). Or avoid ppl like me like the plague bcz we are modern day heretics but find others sort of like me but a safer investment, from a social acceptability perspective. I watch a ton of doc films... A high quality production like The Nat GEO series "One Strange Rock" would be perfect for your stuff. I pestered NAT GEO to make a film series teaching the world that sort of thing for a long time; they finally did. Now my content is even less economically viable. lol at least the world has another important doc to ignore and stay devoid of existential intelligence now. shrug. Keep on it fine folks.

Like this a lot - particularly that driving rhythm. And those harmonies, eg at 2.05. Just beautiful. Now a silly question? What time is this in ?? Is it 12/8 ?
I like this song in general but i think it's quite intense for a bit too much time. Arround the minute 3 or so i was expecting a little break and make it a little less intence and then go up again. This plain and intence music for that five minutes and a half, for me ended up being a but boring at the end.
I think that the song is awesome. If I had to say anything about it's continuous intensity I'd say to add a part 2 and a part 3 including a quieter bridge and a crescendo respectively. A 10-12-minute-long song like A trick of the mind from Magic Pie or Harvest of Souls from IQ. That'd make almost an album in itself. Think about it fellas.
On first listen it reminded me of a cross between Zelliack, Reign of Kindo and Cynic (only in certain parts). Very nice song but too much singing...song need some room to breathe

It's definitely 6/8 for the most part, however there are a lot of polyrhythms, probably why people are thinking 4/4.

I like this song in general but i think it's quite intense for a bit too much time. Arround the minute 3 or so i was expecting a little break and make it a little less intence and then go up again. This plain and intence music for that five minutes and a half, for me ended up being a but boring at the end.
I think that the song is awesome. If I had to say anything about it's continuous intensity I'd say to add a part 2 and a part 3 including a quieter bridge and a crescendo respectively. A 10-12-minute-long song like A trick of the mind from Magic Pie or Harvest of Souls from IQ. That'd make almost an album in itself. Think about it fellas.

On first listen it reminded me of a cross between Zelliack, Reign of Kindo and Cynic (only in certain parts). Very nice song but too much singing...song need some room to breathe
