Hi Ryan! This is Daisy & Mikey's grandma. I just want to let you know that I am truly happy that you have found your happiness. You have become quite a handsome young man and intelligent as well. Take care of yourself and may you blessed with all that your heart desires.
don't put pressure on yourself to tell her anything. if it's not relevant to the conversation and you are conflicted about it, then you don't need to tell her. just be yourself and see how things go 😊
Loved this video man! I totally feel you in the whole being stealth, but wanting to talk about it, but that not being the only thing about us. Especially how you said people see you differently when they find out you're trans like that's insanely true!
It's amazing to see how you changed since high school, it feels like not to long ago when I watched you on rebel news and now I'm watching you on youtube. Truly inspiring 💞.
I am new to your channel and am enjoying your perspectives. My Godson is FtM, so your wisdom helps me to understand him. I am cisfemale & a femme lesbian. I came out in the olden days, circa 1970s, and oddly, being a feminine lez in San Francisco was not acceptable. Not only that, but I was told by my own LGBT community I was mistaken thinking I was gay (!!). I would be asked to leave from lesbian events, that's how bad it was. What I disliked most was being ignored by lesbians, who had no idea I was one of them. Especially when I wanted to flirt with them. I have gaydar, and I can pick up on other people's sexual orientation easily. I don't know why they didn't do the same. There was the mistaken perception by my lesbian sisters that I would drop everything to run off with a man, the first chance I got, and it was foolhardy for anyone to date me. Also, I was disliked because they told me I was "trying" to pass as straight. For the record, I made attempts to dress & look more masculine, but it was extremely uncomfortable, and it felt like I was in drag. Not only that, I don't even like the tailored look on myself. I am an uber frilly & colorful woman. I keep up with the fashion trends; I love makeup, shoe, & clothing shopping. I have styled hair and love going to spa salons. Nowadays this is more acceptable among my peers. The Los Angeles based cable show The L Word educated people to see that feminine lesbians were not unusual. San Franciscan lesbians are still very masculine. I'd moved to Arizona in 1989, and am not around San Fran. Thank you, Ryan, for sharing your story, because it helps many.
Biggest shout outs to you Ryan, you've gained a subscriber all the way from New Zealand. You're so brave, courageous and are setting such a great example for many people. I respect that immensely!
I'm extremely happy that I found this channel. It so far has be really inspirational and warm. I appreciate people who are strong enough and confident enough to share the most vulnerable parts of themselves in hopes to help others that are going through the same thing or similar experiences. I'm 19 right now and for the longest time I never knew what I was, only that I fell somewhere in the LGBT+ community between Bisexual and Transgender. You know and it sucks because I never knew what to say to people. I am attracted to both sexes, but I was born a gender that I wish I wasn't, yet at the same time I am not to sure about the change being something that I want. People would think I was a girl and others would think I was a guy, and at some point people stop trying to figure me out and in a way I kind of liked it. So, ultimately I decided I was Genderfluid. I can be myself in a way but also have that excitement of being someone else. I always tell people I hate having limits, but deep down I still have this feeling where I just should just commit and be one, y'know? That's why your videos and videos like these really help me out and give me perspective on what to expect and if I really want this. i have a few trans friends that have either begun the transition or is already well through it. It's tough to explain to family and other people you know or meet but all in all they seem happy with who they really are. I guess I am curious on the matter of being transgender is because I want to know if it will help me reach that same level of happiness and confidence. Anyways, you got my love and support! Definitely had to subscribe and I wish you the best with this roommate. It isn't any of her business, but if you two do become close my best bet is to tell her. It would make things a lot easier then, and if you want to be discreet just let her know and if she truly is cool she'll understand. What's your thoughts on sex change? (or anyones really) Have a nice day :D
I seriously love listening to you talk and watching your videos. I do hate hearing people go through hardships, but I truly think it helps with development. I can't wait to watch your next video! :)
I would do the same. It must feel very nice to be treated like the guy you are!! I'm sure people will accept you as a trans but I think you're right, they will look at you differently. There a girl I know and I heard the is trans. I wished they didnt tell me. I went to her instagram and stared at her picture thinking; I cant believe she used to be a boy. You know what I mean? She was 100% female to me but now that I KNOW I cant help myself thinking that she wasn't born this way. I also mind the Things I say, like I asked her about Caitlyn Jenner when she just came out, but then I thought "hmmm maybe this is too delicate to ask" but I asked all of my other girlfriends and I want to treat her just the same. But I cant anymore... So me not knowing would have been better. I hope it will change soon. I know it will it just takes time I guess. What im saying is, you are a 100% guy to me, and by saying you're trans people will see you as a trans instead of a (good looking!!) guy. And I'm guessing you just wanna feel like a normal guy, without explanations. You took your chance to be treated equally and that's a good decision, no shame in that. You did the right thing and if there ever will be a right moment you can tell her. I'm proud!!!! And you're gorgeous.
question: dont u think u are overthinking it? like now u know this girl u know is trans, you know she is different, because she is, right? However, maybe knowing may help you to just adjust the things you may wanna say or share that cis girls like us wont take offence than maybe she would/could? ( i mean the whole period talk and stuff like that) what i mean is maybe it is a good thing that you know?
I say go stealth. What's the problem with her thinking you're cis? And even if she does find out, why would she be angry? It's a personal part of your own life and therefore you're not under obligation to tell her. And since it would not effect her life in any way whether you're trans or cis, I don't think she'd be pissed if she found out.
Anything AFTER a few dates means that has to be disclosed. It’s not fair to the other person!!!! I don’t judge trans people, but I would be upset if I was dating someone sexually and they waited for intimacy to tell me. The fact that the other person may not want to date a trans person has to be respected too!!!!!
you are truly inspiring! I remember seeing you in highschool, so confident. I remember envying you for your courage to be who you are. I wasn't out then but you, malorie and everyone helped me so much. now its my senior year, I've been out for two years, and I want to thank you for me and many others to be ourselves.
Yeezus oke I'm so overwhelmed right now. First of all, you got me as a new subscriber!!! I looove how open you talk about every fucking thing! Because of you I will look way more positive to every transgender I meet I think. I already supported lgbt's, but I don't know... You really opened my eyes in some way. Sounds heavy, but your channel means sooo much to the world right now. I'm sure of that. I wish you the best!!
Yesss 🙌 you're not alone. I've been stealth since I came out, which was 3 years ago and I'm over 1 year on T now. The only people who know are my parents or people who need to see my birth certificate and stuff, but I don't plan on ever coming out really, unless it's absolutely necessary. Just do you.
I am new to your channel. I think you are wonderful and courageous for living your truth. Talking about this topic on your channel has the potential to help so many others who are going through the things you discuss: transitioning, coming out to new people, etc.
Wow.....just imagining how it must be a burden to be cautious about yourself and who you are. Nobody should go through that. Everyone has the right to be themselves and to keep personal things private w/o the fear of being judged or looked differently. This is the 1st video I've watched of a woman-man transition and I find it really inspiring. "Live life to the fullest" #StayBlessed :)
Great story time man! Kinda sounds like something I was going through until someone went and told my business. Anyways loved the video, you have a wonderful day!
I started a new school two weeks ago and I wanted to come out ofter one or two days but it just didn't happen so now I'm stealth and it makes me really nervous cause I'm very feminine and don't really pass I'm so scared they might find out (I'm ftm and I'm 15 and the other kids in my class are all younger than me and I think they're too young and too dumb to understand what being trans really is)
Omg I just watched your video about you discussing your first month on T and I'm went to this and I'm so amazing how much have changed in you 😱 I can't wait for my boyfriend to start T and see him happy ❤️
I've been stealth (MtF) for the whole of my first year of Medical School. You're not obligated to tell anyone - especially anything this personal. Your choice completely.
I always get excited to hear your voice because I fantasize about how my voice is going to sound once I'm around a year on T. I'm pre t 17 years old and anyway I met new people at a party and I barelyy passed. my friend knows I'm trans, but his little sister said "when I saw you coming I thought you were a girl but then I was like no that's a boy" awkward so close... then a guy who was older said " don't you have a TH-cam channel?" and I was freaked out bc i have never even talked to this guy before and I don't have him on social media. like o crap does he know I'm trans or did he see my beedios before I cut my hair? he used female pronouns once and no one heard thankfully then he started using male pronouns it was so weird. I told everyone that I'm 13 and in ninth grade bc i felt that they'd see me as pre pubescent and I feel like that helped. this OTHEr girl referred to my nuts like twice and I went along with it and it felt awkward bc that had never happened to me before. it wasn't necessary for me to say anything and I don't feel like I'm living some type of weird secret when I do little things to lie, but at the same time I do? with my own life I feel that sometimes it's just unavoidable to come out. at times I have to face it and I'm always finding myself coming out because otherwise I just look like a lesbian. sometimes I'll pass in front of other people and someone will come along and use female pronouns in front of the people I passed in front of. just awkward dude. as much as I wish I was cis, I'm not and being trans is a part of who I am, but not all that I am.
I 100% support you, and I think it's great that you are who you are, but if you're being true with yourself don't be afraid to tell people the truth about you especially if she's living with you being honest with others helps you be true to yourself .
I am born female. Always identified as such. I consider myself straight but I do sometimes find masculine women and/or trans men attractive. And you in particular are extremely handsome in my humble opinion. And I probably would assume you to be born as Male if I didn't already know otherwise. Btw I apologize for any terms I may have incorrectly used... You're hot. Lol!!! I think it's awesome to be you. And you absolutely do not need to share anything you don't want to.
on a total different note to this topic, the last two minutes had helped me realize I really don't have to tell others anything if its not important o.o I was always trying to explain myself to everyone , thanks for helping me realize this >~
Ryan thank you so much for having your channel!! I just found your channel and I am so happy and proud of you (even tho i don't know you) Please never stop being yourself and keep up the wonderful channel
He is still genetically a woman and petunias are a flower for all you know there might have been a petunia sitting right in front of him or petunias outside the window or possibly his favorite flower the first feminine thought/name that came to his mind
I wonder if boys with vaginas have their period bc idk🤔 I still support u cuz I'm bisexual and I'm not ready to come out some ppl. But almost everyone knows but some ppl don't.
Queen Krystal periods are caused by hormones so i think he wouldnt have one anymore bc his hormone levels are probably at the same level as a cis dude. Im not very educated on the topic but with my knowledge of the human body i would think him being so far into transitioning he wouldnt have it anymore
Ok random question and I hope it's not offensive. What happens monthly when you have your cycle?? Only because your in a house full of women and in college, sharing a bathroom. As you were saying how you change in the bathroom, I was like 🤔😮 oh yeah! If it's none of my business, I apologize. Just curious
I really idmire you! So happy to se your story, to see that you come on with your preferenses in life, something that is making you happy, sooooo happy for you!!!!! Keep going, dont let anyone ruins your dreams, kisses from a mexican admire of you!
You are such a sweetheart with a really pretty personality (I would like to have a nice friend as you are) and really concerned about the word this girl just said.
Thanks for sharing! If i were your roommate and you felt you needed to come out I would be like “we r not having this convo because it doesn’t matter. Dude, check out my new computer!” I love your vids and just started following on twit! Stay safe my friend!
This is a good story. Thanks for sharing the stealth aspect. I live in a very rural town and once I move away I plan on staying stealth. Probably posing as an ally to begin. But I've desired my whole life to be cis, when I pass in going to relish every moment.
I think things have the importance you choose to give them. If you are proud of who you were and who you are and if you are in a "safe" or friendly environment, there shouldn't be a reason to keep it private. If you make a big deal out of it, she probably will too. People mimic other's reaction when receiving information, so it's pretty much in your hands. You are, of course, entitled to not saying anything, but I don't think you should keep yourself from telling her if you want to. x
I don't want this to come off as offense or rude by asking. I'm just genuinely curious about it. When you start testosterone, does it eventually cause you to stop having a monthly cycle? Or will that continue until you have a hysterectomy?
continuing on what unterstrich said, it's dependant on the dosage and the person. A very rough average is 6 months, but it can just as easily be more, less.
closinginonclosure to add on, some people stop THE EXACT month they start t, and some people have it two years after t. it honestly depends, there's no guarantee it will stop super soon after t.
Originally watched this video bc I thought you were cute. That was such a surprise. Thank you for sharing this it was very informative. You're still cute ! Good luck with your roomie ❣️
Similar thing happened when I met this guy a few months ago. He told me later that day, that he was FTM. I didn't change my views at all. Later on he told me that he felt He needed to blurt it out so I could walk if needed. That statement made me so sad. People shouldn't fear that. I agree, you shouldn't have to tell her or anyone else unless you're comfortable with it.
You have such a calming voice omg
Shelby Rayne Music its so fake

i agree :)
don't put pressure on yourself to tell her anything. if it's not relevant to the conversation and you are conflicted about it, then you don't need to tell her. just be yourself and see how things go 😊

oh did he already tell her?? haha

San Franciscan lesbians are still very masculine.
I'd moved to Arizona in 1989, and am not around San Fran.

I go to a small college and am currently living stealth as well. It is very scary. Glad we're in this together. Thanks for sharing!

Irma Campos actually says all of this is temporary. Lo

Zach Jones apparently not.
you're awesome man. i'm glad you pursued your dreams
You're probably the best looking man I've ever seen omg
I seriously love listening to you talk and watching your videos. I do hate hearing people go through hardships, but I truly think it helps with development. I can't wait to watch your next video! :)

Lol this is literally my story my junior year. Lol
Lol you poor confused little thing. Lol
You make me want to hug you, Idk why. You're so strong and lovely ❤️
I say go stealth. What's the problem with her thinking you're cis? And even if she does find out, why would she be angry? Anything AFTER a few dates means that has to be disclosed. It’s not fair to the other person!!!! I don’t judge trans people, but I would be upset if I was dating someone sexually and they waited for intimacy to tell me. The fact that the other person may not want to date a trans person has to be respected too!!!!!
I really appreciate the message you sent in this video about coming out when you want to.
true that!!! you are not obligated to tell everyone about your situation. just live life so long as you're happy and you don't hurt anyone. 😀
Yeah his voice is so nice to listen to
Cara Stamets her*
Richtofen Modz I feel like... he definitely prefers male pronouns. He even said it in a video
Cara Stamets I don't care what the disappointment says in the video every person with a working brain knows you can't hide from your real gender
you are strong and soo positive i like that,i love you so much
you are truly inspiring! I remember seeing you in highschool, so confident. I remember envying you for your courage to be who you are. plot twist, she's trans too
I am ridiculously jealous of your voice. It has dropped so much, and I'm happy for you, but I really wish that I could be on t
Yesss 🙌 you're not alone. I've been stealth since I came out, which was 3 years ago and I'm over 1 year on T now. Stay strong! 💛 do it whenever you are ready and when your heart tells you. People will love you for you! You have an amazing personality
I am new to your channel. I think you are wonderful and courageous for living your truth. Talking about this topic on your channel has the potential to help so many others who are going through the things you discuss: transitioning, coming out to new people, etc.
Just be yourself and dont overthink things. It only makes it worse. You got this.
such a soothing voice
I recently began following you in order to help me be a better support person for my ftm son.
Wow.....just imagining how it must be a burden to be cautious about yourself and who you are. Nobody should go through that. I love you. My cousin Jake saw your vids and said you gave him the courage to come out.✌
Great story time man! Kinda sounds like something I was going through until someone went and told my business.
Anyways loved the video, you have a wonderful day!
I love how you put Sunset Lover in your videos, It's my favorite song!
You inspire so many people out there, I just had to subscribe to you.
I'm recently new to your channel and am totally in love with how open you are. What you're doing is very inspirational. All the love from New Zealand.
I get guys and girls sharing apartments at uni but isn't it a bit odd to share a room? Does that happen often where you live?
The floor I live on is Co-ed
When you live in an apartment on campus you can live with whoever you want. In the dormitory system that you cannot live with whoever you want
Actually, I live in a college dorm room and with a female. Some colleges allow co-ed dorming. And more and more are following the trend.
I lived on (dorms) campus my freshmen year and I had co-ed
Do You live in the uk
I started a new school two weeks ago and I wanted to come out ofter one or two days but it just didn't happen so now I'm stealth and it makes me really nervous cause I'm very feminine and don't really pass I'm so scared they might find out (I'm ftm and I'm 15 and the other kids in my class are all younger than me and I think they're too young and too dumb to understand what being trans really is)
At least people call you he/him pronouns and see you as male!
If you do come out to her about it, you should do it on a video. It would be nice to see her reaction
Omg I just watched your video about you discussing your first month on T and I'm went to this and I'm so amazing how much have changed in you 😱
I can't wait for my boyfriend to start T and see him happy ❤️

eyebrows on fleek!
I 100% support you, and I think it's great that you are who you are, but if you're being true with yourself don't be afraid to tell people the truth about you especially if she's living with you being honest with others helps you be true to yourself .
@Ryan Jacobs Flores I'm not sure how I came upon your video, but it is totally the virtual hug I needed. Consider me your newest subscriber
I THINK YOU ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON ON EARTH. THANK YOU FOR INSPIRE MANY OTHERS!

Btw I apologize for any terms I may have incorrectly used...
You're hot. Lol!!!
I think it's awesome to be you. And you absolutely do not need to share anything you don't want to.
Hes actually really cute💕
I respect you so much. For so many reasons.
on a total different note to this topic, the last two minutes had helped me realize I really don't have to tell others anything if its not important o.o I was always trying to explain myself to everyone , thanks for helping me realize this >~
I wish you the best. Live your TRUTH. Be happy. PEACE AND BLESSINGS.
it's so amazing that you inspired so many people in this world. keep up the good work, and JUST BE YOU 😍🤗😁

Who thinks of Petunia as a name, though? lmao
He is still genetically a woman and petunias are a flower for all you know there might have been a petunia sitting right in front of him or petunias outside the window or possibly his favorite flower the first feminine thought/name that came to his mind
Bruh wtf ur voice is so calming
I wonder if boys with vaginas have their period bc idk🤔 I still support u cuz I'm bisexual and I'm not ready to come out some ppl. But almost everyone knows but some ppl don't.
Their menstrual cycle stops when they get on T
Queen Krystal periods are caused by hormones so i think he wouldnt have one anymore bc his hormone levels are probably at the same level as a cis dude. Im not very educated on the topic but with my knowledge of the human body i would think him being so far into transitioning he wouldnt have it anymore
Your voice is so calming
irrelevant but your voice is sooo relaxing :)
You have such an awesome personality!
My monthly cycle stopped months ago, testosterone stops it.
That totally makes sense! I just found your story last night and I am so very happy for you! Thanks for the reply and good luck to you.

You are absolutely perfect.
Stay safe my friend!
i love your eyebrows.
I love your eyebrows!!!! They are perfect!!
you're such a cool person, with such a dope heart!
You are, of course, entitled to not saying anything, but I don't think you should keep yourself from telling her if you want to. x
i just wanna say you're so damn fiiiiiine! ur personality is just admirable & i think ur my new crush ❤️❤️❤️ #justSubbed
I don't want this to come off as offense or rude by asking. I'm just genuinely curious about it. When you start testosterone, does it eventually cause you to stop having a monthly cycle? Or will that continue until you have a hysterectomy?
+unterstrich Interesting. How long does it take? Months? Years?
+unterstrich Right on. Thanks for the info!
continuing on what unterstrich said, it's dependant on the dosage and the person. A very rough average is 6 months, but it can just as easily be more, less.
closinginonclosure to add on, some people stop THE EXACT month they start t, and some people have it two years after t. it honestly depends, there's no guarantee it will stop super soon after t.
Why would it be offensive or rude?
I love how tou talk lol your accent is really woamdoajd 😍
Originally watched this video bc I thought you were cute. That was such a surprise. Thank you for sharing this it was very informative. You're still cute ! Good luck with your roomie ❣️
Im new to your channel and i absolutly Love your voice sooo much ❤️ its calmin me down when im watchin your videos.
Similar thing happened when I met this guy a few months ago. He told me later that day, that he was FTM. I didn't change my views at all. Later on he told me that he felt
He needed to blurt it out so I could walk if needed. That statement made me so sad. People shouldn't fear that.
I agree, you shouldn't have to tell her or anyone else unless you're comfortable with it.
Your story and aspects on other people's opinion is great 😊👌🏽
Wesleyan? I got the vibe ur talking about this college after you said ur on an apartment on campus and then solidified it when I said Rainbow
