It had never once occured to me to layer a cropped shirt/sweater over a dress. I usually put cropped things back on the rack. You have opened my eyes to a new way of dressing!
As a 28 yr old looking for 70s vintage stuff, I can confirm the vintage clothing markets now in my area are full of early 2000s stuff and it makes me feel old 🥲
We knew it was coming, because our parents warned us that we’d feel old when stuff we wore would come back in style as it did for them 😭 now I know how they felt when we said “vintage 80’s/70’s” - saying vintage 2000’s feels wrong because my brain wants to say “that was like 5 years ago” and it’s like no… that was 20 years ago 💀
knitting expert here (not really lol) the sweater at 11:01 is done in irish moss stitch if I can see correctly. it's a totally beautiful and underutilized stitch imo
@@BC-np8cb they're slightly different. seed stich is when knits and purls alternate in both the rows and the columns, but with moss stich they alternate in the rows and every two columns instead of one. it's what creates that diamond shape
If any company makes the Knock Thrice armour jumpers, but in cotton, I will buy every single one. I want them so much!!! But polyester makes me so itchy (if anyone knows of anywhere: 👀)
Awesome collection!! My husband and I love KJP sweaters too, we splurge on them once in a while. I have that Talbots leaf sweater also, thrifted it ages ago and I totally agree that it is great for styling various ways, much more versatile than the thick and boxy KJP cut that actually kind of doesn't look good on me (but I wear because the patterns are so cute)- to that point- I would love to see how you style your KJP sweaters.
The way I paused the video to look at the Knock Thrice sweaters. THE OVER THE GARDEN WALL PRESALE??!!?! Not only the beautiful cardigans but vests!? I gotta plan. Anyways back to the video 😂🍁😍
Girl true to my heart! Favourite really probably the one you're wearing but all rather adorable. Might have to watch this a second time!! Love to see your cardigans next!!!! X
I'm happy to see you kept your handmade star and moon sweaters, they're still super adorable. Happy fall! I already had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season after feeling that small chill come in and getting my own sweater collection out! 🧡🍁
This video reminds me that I need to replace my lost sweaters.. I have some scruffy thin turtlekneck tops, but no real sweaters except for one long coat length sweater I'm wearing tonight.
Thanks to the utmost perfect timing of your video, I was able to save substancial money on a kjp sweater I was eyeing for a while AND semi-matching foresty socks (if anyone's interested, this is only today Sep. 22) ! BTW there were many I liked in your video, among which the kjp ones, and the Rue 21 sweaters.
If someone really loves the vibe of one of these complex color patterns and cannot find such a sweater, it's time to learn to knit. Thrift shop yarn is cheap, even in that quantity.
Anyone know where I could get the KJP pumpkin dupe? I think Temu and Shein do them but I don’t feel comfortable buying from there and eBay and Amazon stores are just drop shops for them at £20
I got a small, I’m 5’4 if that helps! The unisex sizing seems to be somewhat closer to male sizing. The pumpkin one is a women’s XS so you can kinda see the difference in sizing. The S in the fox fits like a women’s M.
Word to the wise - don't bother with sweaters/cardigans that have high percentage of acrylic. It will pill up and look fuzzy and ratty VERY quickly. Total waste of $ and resources 😭

Haha yesss! I’m a college for at this point. Some collect dolls, salt and pepper shakers or tea cups. I collect cozy sweaters 😂
It had never once occured to me to layer a cropped shirt/sweater over a dress. I usually put cropped things back on the rack. You have opened my eyes to a new way of dressing!
I definitely recommend it! I love doing this with sleeveless dresses to make them warmer. It’s a nice alternative to wearing cardigans.

I love your sweater collection and yes, keep the cutesy sweater, you may never find one like that again.
Totally agree. It’s so unique with all those little details 🥹

I was thinking seed stitch. Is that different from moss stitch or 2 names for the same thing?

@@carolyns.9377 Oh ok. Thanks!
Cannot believe you found the coveted mushroom sweater!!!!!!
I’ve never purchased something so fast. I was on Mercari one random midnight, saw it, immediately bought it without hesitation.

I’ll keep my eyes open! I can also make the suggestion to Nora (knock thrice owner) for future collections!
@@DressMeUpScotty oh my goodness yes please! My soul would leave my body if she started making those cardigans in cotton lol, thank you!!
Thank you so much for this! Please do make more wardrobe tours/collections ✨❤️

The burgundy bell-sleeve sweater around 10:50 looks like seed stitch.
I LOVE the mustard cable knit with the lanterns sleeved and scalloped edges. I like the KJP knockoff you are wearing better than the real.
It’s sooo cute I want one 😍
Gotta love me a good, cozy sweater! Loved every single one of the ones you've got in your collection.
The DIY star sweaters are so good 🤌🤌🤌

Watching as I knit a sweater myself! And it has floofy lantern sleeves too
I need to find a pattern for a knight-themed sweater now!
Its 92 here today I am so done with this weather!!!
Omg that is so relatable. The next week is going to be the 90’s here too 😭 we had a good week of 70’s and low 80’s. Back up we go 😫
I want you to know that I had to pause the video for a good laugh because of that deer pun 😂 came for the sweaters, stayed for the puns.
I watched this while enjoying some homemade soup with toasted sourdough, and the cosy vibes were perfect!
The Erika olive cardigan is my absolute favorite!!! And yes I would love a sweatshirt video!!
Wow, i found some sweaters that i really like! Thank you! ✨🎃

Omg i loved these! my favorite was the pink armor one, but they were all so cute!
The knight sweaters are so cool. They have so much more too on the website, like a pullover style. If I had the funds I’d buy all of them 😂
I had a really bad day and honestly this video made me feel so much better, thank u for the cozy vibes 🧡🍁
So sorry to hear you had a bad day! Glad I was able to make you feel better 🥰
The Filbert sweater ❤ AHHHH!
My sweet cheese 🥹
I really like the all green sweater and the style looked nice on you🎉🎉🎉
I love the maybe vintage Van Heusen For Her - AND I’m coveting the coveted Talbot’s mushroom sweater. You have a fantastic collection!
Definitely my favs too! 🍂
Absolutely love your sweater collection. I’m in a mushroom phase of my life so the mushroom sweater was my fav.

Scotty is your fox sweater s or xs? I am 4’11 and I love oversized but I still want the right fit, thanks

@@DressMeUpScotty Thanks
I don’t beleaf it more leaves on sweaters and cardigans
Sorry to point out, is there something stuck to your lip?
It’s a blemish patch to cover up a nasty scab.
@@DressMeUpScotty Oh I didn’t know that, thanks for letting me know.

2:22 my brain said OMG THAT TREE LOOKS LIKE A TREE IN STARDEW VALLEY
💯- I’ve bee meaning to play that. Part of me is afraid I’ll get sucked in and I’ll ignore all my responsibilities like I did with animal crossing 😂
