i just started knitting like 4 months ago, but im no novice in the fiber world. I love to embroider and crochet. Retreats are awesome. One thing I really enjoy is to be given some kind of project that everyone does while they are there and at the end of the retreat they are all put up for a raffle to win the item made and usually some yarn as well. Retreats with tutorials or speaking about hand dyed yarn are awesome as well. Love the brand represenatives when they offer retreat groups huge discounts when purchasing during the retreat. Oh and I would love to see needle reviews and different types. Love the swag bag!!! Very nice

A friend really helped me - it wasn't what she did, it was what she said - something like "knit on, purl off" with regards what to you do with the working stitches. Now I can do it.
I began watching you last summer when I took my first knitting class. I clearly remember your little series shark week I believe it was called when you knitted a pair of socks in a week. I am finally knitting my first pair of socks this very minute and I fondly remember watching you wiz through those socks and I am limping along. But hey, I'll be as good as you in a few years. The retreat looked like a whole lot of fun. Your friend needs a badge for being a trooper about being in the video. I enjoyed it all. I wonder if I will ever go to a knitting retreat??
