We see on the example of this collection that you don't have to come up with anything new to be successful. You just have to do it very well. It's magnificent!
Anyone who says this is the same as last season doesn't have eyes (you also haven't watched the entire show because the color section is entirely fresh). This is a COMPLETELY different manifestation of the DNA of this house. The smoking is YSL and deserves to be reinterpreted time and again because its truly without era and without season. I also believe you can make an entire collection out of proportion. You can disregard the static details and introduce just proportion. That's what's forward about the successful houses this season, exaggeration of structure. If all you can see is color and obvious element, you need to look deeper because fashion is about much much more. Anthony Vaccarello is an incredible talent with the ability to push the envelope while still being entirely believable and wearable.
Has the trouser suit changed in any way since the 30s? Write to me how????😆😆😆It's the same, look at men's fashion from the 50s and 60s and you'll see the same suits!
@@Sekret_BOLSHOY People have been wearing shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, jackets, coats, etc for hundreds of years....the ingredients don't change. What designers do with those pieces, does. What would you prefer to see? Fibre glass moth cocoons? Sheet metal fish scales? As I mentioned, what's changed here is proportion. Men were not wearing these proportions in the 30's, 50's, 60's (all very different eras for fashion, the fact of which probably escapes you). They're not the same, you must not be sharp enough to see it. Also, there are things other than suits in the collection, but you probably only watched 20 seconds of it, decided that every single suit ever designed was the same, and figured you had enough information to comment. Be careful, your lack of fashion comprehension is showing.
The brocade fabrics, the jewel toned colors, the long bell sleeves and skirts, the color combos, is so 80's OG YSL, the reinterpreted, oversized smoking jacket, although I wonder if it will be marketed to men instead, this is very retro throwback.
The collection is good, great tailoring , fabrics & color coordination. Classy & commerciable- but not easy to wear. Nevertheless, too many oversized/overlays garments which are giving a sense of heaviness/frampiness to the all collection.
I adored the suits, glasses and accessories of the first looks. It felt like Yves uniform from the 70's. Lovely. The second part of the show was boring, I can't see any of these sets being worn, nor are they relevant enough to be part of an editorial.
The last 15 models 13 of them wearing the exact same outfit in different colors 😂. And once we were mad at Maria Grazia Chiuri to close a Dior show in similar mirror mosaic dress in 6 different colors 🤭😅
I feel tailored is fashion forward. Over sized is over redundant. The 80s tops and jackets but suits should have been straight fit and tailored for fashion forward 25 26
Is it a sentimental dedication to YENTL by Barbara Streisand and ANNIE HALL by Diane Keaton? The classic and controversial beauty of feminism, they re Saint Laurent gallery.
I tried real hard to find something that I liked about this collection but ahh no. More then 50% of the looks we men’s suits on women. I didn’t realize they had so many customers in the business industry. I mean, yah cant make it look any different than what it is. I tried to like the ending where the color came in but uhhh no. Aside from the jackets it all looked quite thrifted and thrown together. It wasn’t getting luxury and it sure wasn’t giving it either. 🤨
A glorious parade of women's suits, some of them styled with glasses and slicked-back hair in such a way as to channel the man himself, YSL, in those double-breasted jackets he loved to wear back in the '80's. The shoulders still a little too broad though for anyone under 5'11. Very much an '80's vibe throughout this collection which is not one of my favourite fashion decades I have to say. Don't like the short 'n' shiny stuff at the end and don't like the leather jackets much either. I was in a pub once in 1985 where I met Chevy Chase wearing a leather jacket very similar to the one worn by the first model. He wasn't wearing a dress with it but he could have carried off one of those suits as he was very, very tall.🤭
So the basis of this collection is women dressing as men (including oversized shoulder pads), with a few colourful feminine looks thrown in for those who are more traditional. This collection is not to my taste at all.
Unlike what Dior, Chanel, and Balenciaga have become, Saint Laurent still puts the luxury in “luxury house.” This collection is a feast for the eyes!
💯💯💯💯💯💯
wowww i love it!, now this is fashion 90's 80's vibe.
Finally, a designer that understands the dna of an iconic fashion house. Flawless 💚
What an amazing collection.
The colors, styling , oh so kool.
Wearable ❤
Phenomenal, masculine, grotesque and very modern 👏truly haute couture 🤗
THIS COLLECTIONS GIVES ME " THIS IS A MANS WORLD, BUT IT WOULDN'T BE NOTHING NOTHING WITHOUT A WOMAN OR GIRL "
So True!
This is quite opposite but we’re not going to tell🤫
I thought women wanted to be empowered! Obviously this collection isn't to your liking.
Personally I like women to be women and dress like a woman.

Sophistication on steroids. Oh-la-la! Bravo!

Outstanding collection as expected ♥️
The styling is making the models look like monsieur Yves himself which was a really fabulous salute to him.
Sheer and utter brilliance...finally it's clear Anthony solidifies he's signature next to YSL❤
The best show I've ever seen. Period.
Hallelujah!!! I haven't seen a collection this good from YSL in years!!! I am blown away; staying true to YSL style, but with a twist!!!
I saw saint Laurent for every pieces Exactly inspired for him !!!
I bet Anna Wintour will put one of the suits on the cover of Vogue!
To have another Kardashian wear YSL? No thanks. That lady has served her time.
Fantastic único wonderful and stunning, beautiful beautiful beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fantastico, beautiful and wearable clothes. What great colors Bravo

I never worry about whether a collection is the same as last season. Beauty is beauty and good design should endure.

I actually prefer when collections resemble the previous year, it means investment not trendy that you can only wear and throw away.
@@Sekret_BOLSHOYgood design doesn’t need to change the idea of constant newness is not realistic

Those high heels must be really uncomfortable or the models simply have forgotten how to walk with them .

May not be bringing anything new to the scene but do you really have to? Still chic, still elegant & most importantly still Saint Laurent.
I love it. It’s beautiful but so much suiting and leather for summer.?
Live up the legacy..finally the floral brocade jackets very ysl 1970s Chic.
I’m soo happy to see miss Bella Hadid✨
Congratulations Anthony! Great work.

Very fall/winter...
I love the look, but this looks more like fall/winter - suits, leather? Always beautiful, just wondering 🤔
Very princess Stephanie de Monaco circa 1984. ❤
