Thank you for the recipe! we stopped using the peas due to always seeing undigested in poop, also reduced carrots and added sweet potatoes instead. We make the recipe with turkey, liver and salmon. We occasionally give steak. love the supplements you add.
for the seaweed calcium, I believe instructions says 1 teaspoon for each pound of homemade food!

Should be 1 oz of beef liver per pound of ground meat.Peas and carrots are difficult to digest. Dogs have very short digestive tracts. Either puree all the vegetables or use pumpkin puree and sweet potato pureed.Don't forget leafy greens like spinach, kale or collard greens. Steam and then puree.Also dogs need omega 3 and 6 daily. Otherwise its a good recipe to start.
The skin and coat vitamins she used have omega 3 and 6 in them. What would you use to go in the food that had those other than a supplement? I’m starting to my my own dogfood and I’m wondering if it’s necessary to get vitamins or just make sure stuff is in there that has everything my boy needs
