So good to see you! I just finished a little piece for a pillow on 36 count linen and thought I was going to lose my mind, not to mention my eyesight! I’m blown away that your preference is that itty-bitty, teenie-tiny thread count, and your stitches are SO beautiful! My hat is off to you. I stitched those “Tis the season” trees for a pillow and gave it to a friend for Christmas. I also left the words off. Great minds!! I loved it and secretly wanted yo keep it for myself when I was finished, but I didn’t. I’ll just stitch it again for Christmas 2024! Hope your holidays were happy ones!

Oh you showed so many pretty things you have stitched,noway could I pick my own threads. I just bought the Smart Punch and cloth to try and do needle punching, never have tried it before. I love how you change patterns, your idea for Annie's Christmas stitch....I wouldn't have come up with that but love it! We use to have a real tree but my daughter was allergic so we have artificial. I have seen vehicles with smaller trees this year, I told my husband either the trees are small this year or expensive! I'm so glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m on a fixed income so I don’t have much stash but trying to build on it. I’ve only been stitching about a year now started with 14 ct. Aida then 28 ct. lugana now I’m on 36ct. Linen and loving it. I’ve been following you even back when you was with Shellie and I can appreciate that you have to do what you need to for yourself. So keep going your doing Awesome !!
So very glad to see you this evening. I hear you. At the age of 75 and only cross stitching for a couple of years I sure went over board buying at the beginning. Now I am settling down and being more mindful of what I really want to stitch. Of course I select from my huge resource center here at home. Almost everything I kitted up when I purchased the chart, so it’s like a “Candy Store”. Once in a while I will change my mind on fabric count but only if I really think about it first. Your stitching is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us. Have a very blessed Christmas.

There are no rules. I just pick what I like, and go with it. I usually stay close to what is called for, but just lick different shades of that color I prefer more. Thanks for watching!!

Hi Liz! You sure have been busy with all of the great finishes and fun WIP’s!! I love all of your smalls! I have many of the ones you showed, and need to do more smalls! That is what I think I am going to concentrate on in 2024. I don’t normally do the things like 12x12 or 24 in 24, but perhaps I’ll try this year! I have accumulated too much stash and therefore, I am trying very hard to stitch what I have, or be very intentional about purchasing anything until I stitch up what I already have! Have a wonderful holiday season friend!

Good to see you again. I love your stitching. I too try to keep in the reins on haul but some things are necessary for our stitching therapy. 😂 I want to try to punch needle, but I know I don't need more obsessions. I know one day I'll just jump in the deep in. That's how I do things😂😂😂.
So happy to hear from you today. I am learning how to punch needle too so I must purchase the ornaments (small and doable). I ordered a shepherds bush stocking chart, waiting to stitch on 40 or 46 count linen. I love yours so much and may have to stitch more than one. Parker stocking is what I bought as I love snowmen. You had a lot of enabling for me this video. Take care of you and don’t listen to the negative people. When someone has to point out their dislikes for someone, they are struggling with their own life. Happy holidays.

Since their weren’t really tree farms there, we would get a permit and Tim would go cut it down off the side of the mountian😂 They weren’t all pretty and trimmed like the farms but we loved it! I miss being home in UT so much this time of year😞 I can’t wait to be back there the end of March next year!!!

So enjoyed watching this! I definitely want to stitch a miniaturized Shepherd’s Bush stocking, and I’m also newly inspired to stitch a Prairie Schooler for the first time…and…the homespun covered candy canes! I need to get to work! :) Did you mention what count linen you did your Prairie Schooler piece on and whether you changed colors? If you did, I managed to miss it, I’m sorry! If you have time to share that, I’d love to know. Finally, do you use regular floss to stitch on 46? Thanks so much for sharing your time and talent!
I used 46ct Seraphim Old Stationary. The colors though might be a little tricky since I changed them all🤷🏼♀️😂 I remember most of them. I just pick colors as I stitch, so I don’t follow the legend per say, and I don’t always stitch everything on the chart either. I do use regular floss on 46, one strand of course😁 I know I am bad about not writing them down. I just know what color I used for what. -The words and all the tree’s around the house- WDW Caper - The pine branch boarder on the right and left side- WDW Garrison Green - The holly berries in the boarder- WDW Lancaster Red - The black carriage and roof- CC Black Coffee - The front side of the house and the star- WDW Sandcastle - The side of the house- CC Ye Old Gold - The horse- WDW Chestnut Hope that helps!! If I forgot anything let me know. I loved stitching it SO much!! Thank you so much for watching, and for your kind words❤

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I am happy to show the supplies in another video. It is super easy, especially if you can buy the pre-printed weavers cloth like I have! Then you just need a Morgan hoop it’s called, and a punch needle. I use Smart Punch, but there is also one called the Ultra Punch. It can seem like a lot at first, but I promise it is super easy, and lots of fun!!

Hi Liz so glad to see you again and oh my gosh I love everything you shared. And all the great ideas you have on some of your projects. And I also share the same color palette you do your such an inspiration for me. And I’m with you on just doing what you can on a budget. I’m on a fixed income so I don’t have much stash but trying to build on it. I’ve only been stitching about a year now started with 14 ct. Aida then 28 ct. lugana now I’m on 36ct. Linen and loving it. I’ve been following you even back when you was with Shellie and I can appreciate that you have to do what you need to for yourself. So keep going your doing Awesome !!

So very glad to see you this evening. I hear you. At the age of 75 and only cross stitching for a couple of years I sure went over board buying at the beginning. Now I am settling down and being more mindful of what I really want to stitch. Of course I select from my huge resource center here at home. Almost everything I kitted up when I purchased the chart, so it’s like a “Candy Store”. Once in a while I will change my mind on fabric count but only if I really think about it first. Your stitching is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us. Have a very blessed Christmas.

There are no rules. I just pick what I like, and go with it. I usually stay close to what is called for, but just lick different shades of that color I prefer more. Thanks for watching!!

Hi Liz! You sure have been busy with all of the great finishes and fun WIP’s!! I love all of your smalls! I have many of the ones you showed, and need to do more smalls! That is what I think I am going to concentrate on in 2024. I don’t normally do the things like 12x12 or 24 in 24, but perhaps I’ll try this year! I have accumulated too much stash and therefore, I am trying very hard to stitch what I have, or be very intentional about purchasing anything until I stitch up what I already have! Good to see you again. I love your stitching. I too try to keep in the reins on haul but some things are necessary for our stitching therapy. 😂 I want to try to punch needle, but I know I don't need more obsessions. I know one day I'll just jump in the deep in. That's how I do things😂😂😂.

So happy to hear from you today. I am learning how to punch needle too so I must purchase the ornaments (small and doable). I ordered a shepherds bush stocking chart, waiting to stitch on 40 or 46 count linen. I love yours so much and may have to stitch more than one. Parker stocking is what I bought as I love snowmen. You had a lot of enabling for me this video. Take care of you and don’t listen to the negative people. When someone has to point out their dislikes for someone, they are struggling with their own life. Happy holidays.

Love your enthusiasm. Keep it coming. I loved some of your advice about only doing what your budget allows. Some just have so much haul and so many retreats. The average stitcher just can’t and shouldn’t try to keep up with that.

When we lived in UT that is exactly what we did for our tree every year!!!!! Since their weren’t really tree farms there, we would get a permit and Tim would go cut it down off the side of the mountian😂 They weren’t all pretty and trimmed like the farms but we loved it! I miss being home in UT so much this time of year😞 I can’t wait to be back there the end of March next year!!!

So enjoyed watching this! I definitely want to stitch a miniaturized Shepherd’s Bush stocking, and I’m also newly inspired to stitch a Prairie Schooler for the first time…and…the homespun covered candy canes! I need to get to work! :) Did you mention what count linen you did your Prairie Schooler piece on and whether you changed colors? If you did, I managed to miss it, I’m sorry! If you have time to share that, I’d love to know. Finally, do you use regular floss to stitch on 46? Thanks so much for sharing your time and talent!
I used 46ct Seraphim Old Stationary. The colors though might be a little tricky since I changed them all🤷🏼♀️😂 I remember most of them. I just pick colors as I stitch, so I don’t follow the legend per say, and I don’t always stitch everything on the chart either. I do use regular floss on 46, one strand of course😁 I know I am bad about not writing them down. I just know what color I used for what.
-The words and all the tree’s around the house- WDW Caper
- The pine branch boarder on the right and left side- WDW Garrison Green
- The holly berries in the boarder- WDW Lancaster Red
- The black carriage and roof- CC Black Coffee
- The front side of the house and the star- WDW Sandcastle
- The side of the house- CC Ye Old Gold
- The horse- WDW Chestnut

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I am happy to show the supplies in another video. It is super easy, especially if you can buy the pre-printed weavers cloth like I have! Then you just need a Morgan hoop it’s called, and a punch needle. I use Smart Punch, but there is also one called the Ultra Punch. It can seem like a lot at first, but I promise it is super easy, and lots of fun!!

As far as my Primrose quaker I have 2 in mind. I want a deeper richer red, so if I do silks I will use Dinky Dye’s Shades of Wine, and if I go for over dyed cotton I will use either Weeks Indian Summer or Merlot.
