      @@tyhatfield7156 Yes. Noticed that missing as well. It's the subtleties that make a good wrestler as opposed to a bad wrestler. I have been successful using the high crotch entry, so I disagree with you there, but it is risky for sure. Jiu-jitsu academies need to train wrestling more I feel.

      @Butwhy Yes, I've been countered with that before in gi, but never in no gi. There is always a counter. It boils down to who's offence beats who's defense. I still like the chain attacks available from high crotch entry.

    Annnnd that's why I'm staying away from single or double leg takedowns, its a perfect set-up to get choked out....

      Like any other technique, when not done correctly, there's a risk. Nothing wrong with the takedowns when done right

      It isn't though especially if you wrestled before you'd know to look across the shoulder... sweep singles exist so do low singles and head inside singles

    I was taught when you shoot you had yo put your ear against belly when you grab the leg and not the outside. Im glad I see why.

    Fantastic technique. I'm really impressed how she broke that woman's fall. Too many times I've seen people being dropped violently after something like this. She deserves a lot of credit, especially from her unconscious opponent.

      Head was on the outside. High crotch is easier to finish but this is the risk.

      I train bjj myself and got choked plenty of times. So far I always tapped early enough and never went unconcious. But I can understand it when you are in a competition and want to tap at the very last moment, but then you might miss it like in the video. By the way, the winning person did nothing wrong and won the fight by submission.

At my second comp someone went for an arm triangle on me, didn’t have the choke, but was a nasty neck crank, I didn’t tap, and I couldn’t compete the rest of the comp and my shoulder was messed up for 2 weeks. 0 hard feelings for the guy, I let him get there and I didn’t tap, it’s on me not him
