Technically, getting splats on uninked or enemy turf would put you at a disadvantage, since when you splat someone, it inks a bit of the turf around your victim (I think around 30p).
Reverse Turf war = Deathmatch if im not mistaken, right? If so, would be a good alternative to regular Turf War. (Would rather call it “Splatmatch” to more consistent) Some refinements to this match would be increased movement speed when not in squid/octo form. Some slight tunings and nerfing for weapon damages, ranges, and spread. No painting of the turf at all (basically all ground becomes any surface that cannot be inkable), and the ability to like crouching and cover positions to replace of “swimming in ink” form since you cannot ink surfaces at all. Mountable turrets around some maps as well, and maybe have some sort of objective like capturing a flag or point, or something like that as an alt to the “Splat match” game mode. I mean, most of the maps look perfect for this style of gameplay and should be an actual gameplay mode if there ever was a third game. Heck, there should also be Free-For-All gameplay instead of being on teams, since most maps are based on Team-co-operation. New maps need to be designed for a FFA splatmatch. But, this is a very intresting gameplay mode for a Splatoon 3rd game, i like it.

What about each team chooses their weapons, and at the end of the match, losing team switches to winning team weapons, and winning team chooses a new set of weapons if they choose. First to 3 wins IN A ROW wins
