Yay!!!! Hello Jayda 'n Mr. InStitches *waving madly*👋 👋 👋 I am home today because I work this Saturday, and my oh my what a nice surprise 🌹🌹when I checked my emails. TH-cam has been acting really funny these past few weeks and sometimes I get notifications, and sometimes I don't, very odd! Anyhoo, just finished making "the pumpkin"! 🎃🎃 I used orange cotton and brown twill cotton, so very, very pretty! *Mr. InStitches, look away* - I have to go buy red cotton yarn now Jayda, because I am SOOOOO making the apples!! 🍎🍎🍎 Those would make awesome gifts!!! 🎁🎁🎁 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! See you this evening! 🤩
Hi Afroditi! Thank you so much for popping into our live stream last night and being SO generous!!! We really appreciate it :) We love the fall around here and I find it so inspiring that I usually end up with more ideas than Fridays * giggle * TH-cam is still working out their notification bugs (from what we understand) so hopefully they'll have it all ironed out shortly! I hope you had fun yarn shopping....I'm counting down the days until January LOL
Thank you so much for your amazing spirit and ATTITUDE! I'm a total beginner .... never thought I would get the hang if this... but after following you excellent demonstrations....i feel confident that I can be a decent stitcher!
Too cute!!! And so practical!! So perfect for a favorite teacher who always has a cold drink in hand!!! I am going to make a lemon coaster for my cousin who loves lemons!! Thank you!!‼️‼️😀😀🌈🌈‼️
Jayda you are an amazing teacher. Your voice inflection is soothing the explanations are so easy to follow. Ive been crocheting wrong for many many moons and am just starting to feel confident in the process. TY again! The apples & pumpkins would be delightful together also.💘🌰XO❤XO🎃XO❤🍁
@@JaydaInStitches I also subscribed. I'm new at the youtube thing, but trying to learn. It's a lot harder to make videos than I thought but too late to back out now. It's too expensive lol
So Cute and such perfect timing!! I was looking for something quick to make my sons' teachers for World Teacher Day on Oct. 5 and the apple as a coaster is just ideal!! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity!!
Wendelyn Young well when I made jayda’s apple sacks I made one red and one yellow (because yellow apples are my daughter’s favorite” I think I know what I’m gonna do! I’m gonna make some yellow and red ones out of acrylic and string them up just like Jayda did her star garland a while back and then I’ll have apple garland for fall! Red AND yellow cuz it’s more festive though I have to say, if I can find the right green then I’m totally adding it! Lovely Granny Smith!! Adorable!! 👍❤️😄
Hi Kathleen! Just a little something extra for our Fall-Crochet-Loving-InStitches-Family :) I LOVE your idea about the bunting, what a super festive splash of colour!
Jayda InStitches thank you! Pat yourself on the back though because it’s a marriage of two of your wonderful tutorials!! My mother and I cleaned out a room and now it’s going to be a “craft room”. Never had one. So excited!!! The garland will be perfect in there!!
Hi Sandy! We've definitely had a taste of fall weather here, but it's October, so we'll still have some really warm and sunny days ahead. It's definitely my favourite month!!
A little ways back you did a live stream about crochet block. I have a cure for crochet block. Watch some Jayda in Stitches!! Always makes my creativity lightbulb click on!
Jayda InStitches yes!!!! I can’t decide which one of yours that I wanna make. You have done so many lovely ones! The stars and trees. Ah. Snowflakes!! Ooooh even making a Pom Pom could be a cute ornament!!! Hahahaha. I can’t even imagine how much yarn I would buy if my husband let me loose in a craft store with you lmao Thank you again!
Love this pattern. My finished coaster, without stem, measures 3.25” instead of 4”. Is that correct? How do I make the diameter 4”? I used a 5.5mm hook and Hobby Lobby "I love this cotton" yarn. I want the diameter to be 4".
Hi Gina, yarn weight, hooks and person tension vary. I have never used Hobby Lobby yarn so I don't know how it compares to the yarn we used here. To upsize you can try one of the following: 1. use a larger hook 2. use a thicker weight yarn 3. hold a couple of strands of yarn together (although this might size it up too much!)
Jayda! Help... can you plz do a tutorial on a crocheted cross as a Christmas ornament? I can’t find an easy pattern to follow or a tutorial and honestly... it’s hard to watch anyone else... plz! Thank you
and An angel.... i have tried several tutorials just don't understand them LOL i would love to be able to make ornaments for my grand daughters tree. she bought her first home just a few months ago.. I'm already making your Table runner and matching napkin rings for her..
Hi Kathy, I haven't tried crocheting with tulle, but I don't see why it would't work! I imagine they'd wind up being much bigger than these ones, especially if you used a hook that worked well with the tulle size.
Great work jayda.thanks for sharing.😘😘😘😘😘love it. I made a falling leaves stich hat and I have send u the pictures on Instagram hoping that you will like it 😊😊😊😊
