Much Welcome Brother! You get a power increase of about 5-7% and that is quite evident, you’ll love the throttle response and overall smoothness has also gone up. The bike sounds 10% more bassy above 2k rpm. As far as the mileage goes. Im testing it for a long term, but as of now it has gone down because I’ve been riding it very very hard☠️, 27 approxx. Im gonna skip the fuelx pro for now coz Im satisfied with this much of mods, I will now get an exhaust muffler spice up things! Im honoured Sir🙏🏻 Keep Supporting!
That’s nice. Adding a muffler wouldn’t be street legal, would it? Either way keep up the good work. That was a very detailed walkthrough of how to change the air filter by yourself. You should consider making it a series of such DIY projects for the bike. Thanks again.
If the bike is going out of emission norms and sound is below 80db, then It is legal. I will just change the muffler and will not remove the catalytic converter which will have no effect on the emissions and the sound will also be below 80db.

Awesome!! I have the same bike. Is it worth to install bmc air filter? Have you noticed any power difference in low rpms?
Absolutely worth it. You’ll definitely notice the power difference.
If you remove the rubber baffle there is a noticeable performance gain. it just pops straight out of the hard plastic filter cover

I got it from LRL motors. Just type gixxer 250 bmc air filter on google and you’ll get options from many sellers.
Change the break pad. Install gt650s brk pad will fit perfectly..

Bro have you tested this? I am currently using the Vesrah ones for my Vstrom 250, but those are ceramic. I wanted Sintered ones so maybe I can use EBC ones made for GT 650?

Supreme ✅ Don’t expect too much loud sound that comes with cheap aftermarket ones but it will definitely be greater than stock filter!

15-20 days, performance is really good! It’s worth it.
@@somksadh thanks for the reply. Good so far, it's okay but the health of the bike is a problem after some days that's what I have heard. I will wait for the result after about a month. Did you get the re mapping done after you installed the air filter?
Engine health is affected when we use cheap aftermarket air filters like bsddp, moxi, HP etc. Premium air filters like K&N and BMC don't affect the health. Also there is no need of remapping, the ecu itself adapts to slight changes.

Chain sprocket is gone but still getting 31 kmpl
How does chain sprocket got damaged?
Normal Wear and Tear. Nothing wrong. 12-15k kms me replace hota hai Vstrom ka Chain sprocket.
Mine is still running 22k km @@somksadh

after only 2 years and 20,000 km on the motorcycle, I wanted to clean it. ( That would be the first cleaning since I bought it )
When removing the filter from the housing, it literally disintegrated and fell into the smallest pieces.

My chain sprocket is worn out, Im waiting for it to be changed and then I will record mileage and do a proper top speed test. But until then, Im getting about 32kmpl. Im expecting it’ll go till 34-35 easily after chain sprocket replacement.
Power definitely increases by about 10% and you’ll feel it the moment you install it. Also helps the engine run cooler!
I would suggest don’t go for cheap options! Invest in something like K&N or a BMC👍🏻
