Chuck was already amazing way back at Berklee where he would hang out at my apartment. He was only 19 and playing beautifully. Emily Remler used to come over too and hang out. She wasn't as advanced then but became a great player later on. Both of them will be missed.

What wonderful rich & sumptuous sound from these two superb musicians. Chuck has one of the nicest straightahead jazz guitar sounds on the planet - or at least on TH-cam today. Beautiful bass sound as well - of course. And wonderful playing from both intrepid artists.
Mr. Loeb is both a pleasure to listen to and yet inspires so much frustration in we pseudo-guitar players and guitar groupies because he makes intricate, sophisticated music sound/look so easy. Awesome music.
