I’m not a medical doctor but I’m a Psyd sex therapist… You always have the coolest guests and you give so much ridiculously valuable content! KUDOS Greg!! How come he’s not using BOLT?? 😉

      Hey I’m an aspiring entrepreneur and I follow your channel.I think that this could really work and I was wondering if you could help me with building this. I’m also currently learning web design to try and mimic the success designjoy had. My family is also trying to help invest in this but I thought this dr ai might be more scalable and easier . Well you are a great guy and I’m looking forward to talking and working with you😅.

    I'd like to see more on the influencer spending many of us don't want to spend that much at first to market an app (or don't have that much money ie. $5k/influencer). Also figuring out the cost of the openAI API calls vs the $4/week subscription fee and how the free trial works, do you take credit card for free trials etc.

    • @seth820
      @seth820 หลายเดือนก่อน

      idk if this helps, but i took a look at his cal ai app and to go into a free trial you have to lock in your credit card for a year round subscription prior to free access, but i don’t think it charges you until the trial is over

    Actually im a professional health coach and i agree with him. We get paid for our experience and intuition, not for basic information. Access to data and what a healer considers to be common knowledge is really most of the issue handled. AI can't be everything you need for your health but it absolutely can save us healers alot of wasted time so we can focus on what we do best. It can also definitely help people avoid alot of issues.

    Greg, I Love your podcast, but this episode is forgetting the HUGE legal implications and should advise the exact opposite. To everyone out there trying to find their idea, don't do this one. You will be in trouble if your app is giving the wrong medical advise,and as an AI it will. Apple and Google will prevent you to publish, for your own good in this case. He is 17, he doesn't full graps the legal system complexities. He thinks he can do anything without being in trouble because h means to help people. Greg, pin a comment that will warn your audience of this type of apps.

    • @makingcookingfixing
      @makingcookingfixing หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      we dont care about the implications, the show is about making an app, designing it, and bring it to market. This is just an example. It's not telling you to make a doctor app

    I know you predicted a load of docs on here moaning but just wanted to say that from a 100% human doc - that’s almost certainly not common wart. It’s vesicular (a blister) and there are two lesions. Other conditions are much more likely. It immediately highlights the problem.
    Actually more interestingly google images is plagued by incorrectly labeled skin conditions which is a problem if you try googling your ‘thing’ as a member of the public. As a result a tool like this is likely to be dangerously inaccurate with base GPT model. It would certainly need to be specifically trained on big datasets of images of real anonymized patients diagnosed correctly first.
    Great marketing to be able to say ‘more accurate than google according to drs’ once built though!

    • @arkszklar
      @arkszklar หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree that the app idea is doable, but you'd need a specialized model, solid testing, and FDA approval. It is a full-fledged medical startup idea, not a consumer toy app that anyone can hack.

    👋 Dr here who works a lot with AI.
    I recommend you get rid of this video. Firstly, this is nothing new, we’ve had symptom checkers and triage apps for many years. Many have come and gone (Babylon as an example)…
    This is an extremely regulated area and I don’t recommend endorsing or suggesting it’s easy to build medical AI apps, especially with off the shelf AI APIs. If you’re found to be handling medical data, it gets legal pretty fast.

    • @amxdai4568
      @amxdai4568 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s literally a video demonstrating how to build an app utilising AI. They are not specifically telling people to build this exact app, it’s obviously for demonstration purposes. As you’re supposedly a Doctor, I’m sure we can all give you a pass for writing a nonsensical comment but ANYONE remotely involved in tech already understand the liability associated with health related applications, not to mention the complexities involved with securely storing highly sensitive data in the backend.
      There is absolutely no reason for Greg to delete this video.
