You need a T-shirt that says, “Make It Happen!” I wish I saw this before buying a blocker. Would’ve save me a lot of money.

The most important part of being able to do this DIY is being able to count.
    Say it with me chirren.....1. 2. 3.

Put an eyelet bolt rear corner of The plate then use a braided cable so it doesn’t flap in the wind like your rope can. Your rope can snag on your blade the way you have it now.
Also do like the guy said , go to hardware store or amazon and buy a spring
I use a piece of plywood for now with one bolt in rear hole holding it on . Cable top front . Plywood a tad longer then deck. The plywood pivots up and down. To get it down I use my foot.
Eventually I’m going to get a foot peddle and reconstruct. Or use a window motor from a car and make it automatic with a button switch/ foot controlled.

@@genarogonzalez4384 it’s fine. So simple it really just requires a bunjee and some zip ties. I have the video on my channel how I made it.

Rig up a spring to hold the flap closed. Think spring like a clothespin spring.

Leave the dude alone. Your dad obviously didn’t know what he was doing… he clearly busted in a flower pot, then raised a blooming freaking idiot.
