Great Job James and Jody, I really enjoyed this one. Photog, and film was wonderful.Great images and color, Interviews were pertinent and genuine. Congrats to your success on this.
Loved it. The Bob Strand interviews were GOLD! Him getting emotional at the end... as a biologist myself I really appreciated seeing that and I hope others do to.
Thank you for the comment and we agree. It was great to get to know him and find out how obsessed he is with these fish, from conservation to the pursuit of the species. We have quite a bit more from him on the conservation part that we will most likely use in the next film we will be doing in the fall. After watching this so many times through the edits I can’t help but wonder if his dog has any hair left on his ears as he nervously scratches tugs on them! Was a real treat and thanks again!
I've watched a lot of musky fishing videos, and made some very basic ones. This is intense, genuine, thought provoking, and insanely stimulating! The videography alone is awesome!! The story board is extremely well done, the people are genuine and not over the top. Plus, this video does a great job of encapsulating all the nuance stuff that involves musky fishing. It's an obsession! For most of us it's consumes us! Awesome job, well done!!! 👍👍
Hey, we really appreciate that and you definitely get what we were trying to capture and portray. It is a grind and definitely not for everyone but for us that chase them and let it consume us this is our takeaway with a fish in the net and some great memories we will always remember. And, to get this on film adds a whole other element to it! Thanks for the appreciation!
Interesting for sure. Things in the works on that actually so stick around. Will most likely post over winter because I’d like to see how the rest of the season goes in the imaging world.
Musky are my addiction, an affliction. Some stories are legend, some a myth that are fiction. They are my prescription My depiction. Of everything worth going on about.
You fish 1 hundred hours catching no fish. I Fish 1 hundred hours fight over 1 hundred fish. Hard to say what one is more work. Just different rewards.
I am sorry, but this is the same concept of every fishing documentary nowadays. A lot of interviews, staged plot, trying to make it more important than it actually is. No critique on this film specifically, but these docs in general.
@@Fishcamp You've made musky fishing into the most important thing in life. Listen, I understand. I've been fishing for them since 1987. It grow's on you . The never ending amount of lures, for one. There's nothing wrong with doing something with intensity. But we must keep in mind that there are other things in life .
Im addicted to it. Spent way too much money, spend way too much time. Priceless
You can always make more money but time……. You can’t get more so soak up what we’ve got!

Thanks Marty, definitely happy with how this came together!

Jordan didn't quit after 1 championship.... love it
Matt speaking the truth after he thought the interview was over. Pure gold and a mic drop!

Well, maybe we don’t watch enough TH-cam but we’ve never seen anything in fishing close to this. Biased of course but…..
It's nice to get out & fish , but lets not turn this into idol worship .
Ummm, who’s the idol?
