- Last year, I played through NieR: Automata and thought the soundtrack was incredible. So I knew at some point I was going to do an arrangement. Choosing which one to do was hard, but I finally settled on Vague Hope. Hope you enjoy it! I also need some more requests for songs to do.

I just finished all of the main endings today, and man, every time this song came up it always gave me hope but also the feeling of despair. really portrays what this game is really about. thank you for this amazing performance. love this song!

Yep. Since my earlier videos have parts that I think are impossible, I started using live recordings for these videos with only minor edits. I'm not a great piano player so I sometimes record both hands separately, but this arrangement is possible (although the shifting you need to do at 2:57 is a pain in the ass). The one thing I've recently changed to help me play this part is at 2:59 with the double F#s. Instead of F# and D on the way down, I play D and B and shift to a Dmaj7 for the rest.

Ma gosh, Ashes of Dreams would be wonderful! But the Replicant version would be nice, since NO ONE has ever trans it til today, because it's more...complex/jazzy:

I'm glad you liked it! I became aware of some channels taking arrangements from others' videos/midi files and uploading them as their own, so I've removed my midi files from TH-cam. I still have them available on my Discord server for those who want to learn. Just know that, because the midi is from live recordings, it definitely won't look good if converted directly to sheet music. You would need to make a lot of edits

if you dont have the sheet, can you at least share with us the midi recorded by synthesia? i mean thats how you can show this video right? using the free mode in synthesia? i would like to learn it (maybe not the later hard part lol), and i use synthesia since i haven took lessons yet, so i cant slowly read a sheet music, but i like synthesia better to practice.
