This is great and all, but how would I go about using it on multiple interchanging symbols? My symbols create their own animation on their own when placed on one another.

Absurdity of Adobe -the keyboard shortcuts for REDO/ UNDO are different for Illustrator and Animate...

Hello, can you help me? When I test my infographic from Adobe animate, it works perfectely, but when I pubblish it, it doesn't work. The animations work just fine, but I made some buttons that doesnìt work.

very helpful, but getting into the habit of ALWAYS going to the objects own timeline is a bad way to organize and think in animation

how to make sure that playhead is at the end of the motion tween ?

Haziq Bencok hey, you can just move the playhead (the red ‘button with line’ in the timeline) by dragging it to the end of the timeline. Hope this helps! ;)

Haziq Bencok (and, you can also see how I do this at 1:48 in this video)

Continuing comments from the Video ONE,
    3. The import from Illustrator converts paths that are edited with the line width tool to outlines. This is very sad. There seems to be the same variable width tool in Animate. Can it be possible we only have to draw a complex and artistic variable width line once? I'm not sure it will be possible to duplicate with out an hour of careful work.
    4. In every other Adobe product the actions for layers are on the bottom of the layers panel - not so in the timeline layers panel in Animate This is confusing and non-standard.
5.It does not seem possible to have the same options for user interface. The choices are very limited anyway (dark, medium or light gray) but should be consistent.
    6. In redrawing the complex line, I discover Animate's bezier curve tools are very much less fluid when compared to Illustrator's. The natural curves are just not even close to being as intuitive and flowing. It's like going back in time ten years to an old version of Illustrator.. surely, the technology can be copied from Illustrator.
I followed the instructions, and got the following error message:
    WARNINGS: ** 8 Bitmaps packed successfully into 1 spritesheet(s).
Frame numbers in EaselJS start at 0 instead of 1. For example, this affects gotoAndStop and gotoAndPlay calls. (9)
Motion tweens are published as frame by frame animations. Use classic tweens where possible.
In general the learning curve has been staggeringly steep - for what should be intuitive for someone who has usedAdobe's software for decades.I should be relatively easy to take an illustrator graphic file and create some simple animations for a web project. Ultimately I have given up. I worked on this for three hours.
It can't be easy taking a legacy tool like Flash and to standardize it's user interfaces to the rest of the product line up... but it has to be done. Certainly there are some standards in training, tutorials and versioning that should be considered the absolute BASICS of running a multi billion dollar international software venture.

@David Shantz It's been 2 years + ... has there been substantial improvement as regards importing directly into Animate from Illustrator as far as you know?
