My Giant's are going to impress this year, we are predicted to win 4 or 5 games, and my chips are in the middle of the table, 11 and 6 wild card..coach is making the offensive play calling that means D.J. deep to ?
I really hope so, but I think people are underestimating how bad the secondary is going to be. They're an injury away from being a practice squad secondary
I trust Schoen will find one or more players to improve that area of the team. Keep hope alive!

11-6 will win the division this year. Nothing wrong with optimism.
I really hope so. Now while I can easily see the offense, once settled in, really taking off IF (and this if has been an absolute disaster for this franchise) the OL can run and pass block consistently enough for DJ to get comfortable with TRUSTING them to give him time. The death of a potential good NFL QB is shell shock from being hit entirely too much, too frequently, for multiple seasons, early into their career. If he can trust the OL and he regains his game day mojo....the Offense can be good enough to shock people, and offset the Defensive deficiencies in the secondary. If the defense can follow that up with a bend but not break approach, while getting after the QB, and create some timely turnovers they can very be capable of producing the amount of wins you are putting your chips in on, lol. But like every year, if the OL doesn't do it's job to at least a league average, then I dont believe our defense is yet capable of being good enough to help carry this team as it is currently constructed. Young guys can suddenly blossom or turn out to be diamonds in the rough, but I don't see it yet.
At the end of the day, what I am looking forward to evaluating this season is to see IF this veteran stop gap OL can be improved with new OL coach, if so, does DJ show enough to not give up on him, how is the new Defensive Coordinator, Can Dabboll HC and call the plays, how high a draft pick might we have to spend on a CB, how do the GM's draft picks develop, and for the love of God look now for scouts who are capable of judging OL talent, and find a way for the Giants organization convince the Jets Organization to split the costs of putting real grass on the field!!! The excuse has always been from the Giants is that it's too expensive to maintain. However, it is a bs excuse for the simple fact of the matter of having TWO Organizations to split the expense of maintaining a real grass field for one shared stadium.
Realistically I have them going 7-10

Giants look to have the best defensive line and the best offensive line since joe and Brian came to New York. I love saquon and X but Good football starts in the trenches not at safety or RB, that’s just the reality of football

If the O-line can be at least average, and the D-line can be a dominant pass rushing group, then we can win about 9 games.
If then O-line sucks again, and the pass rush is just so-so, then it’s gonna be a long year.

right dude - they won 6 games with the worst o-line I've ever seen and 3 QBs - including a UDFA QB last year. But with Burns - Van Roten - Elumunar - Runyan - Theo Johnson - Nabers - Nubin - Dru Phillips and hopefully a no injury year from AT - a good staple of RBs - we are going to take a step back and win 4 games - sounds logical
Jones will be less mobile and will play with no confidence since now he knows without any doubt they do not want him or believe in him. The rest of the team has a lot of holes. It’s not hard to imagine.
