    Great Video - Lewis Grand Hotel was a great place in the day - really had fly problem - and yes - shady ownership and partners ... used to go to Rotary Events there ...

    Thanks for the visit to the Orsu Hotel, we are pretty busy most of the time due to the proximity to Fields Avenue and the room rates! Even I have problems getting a room there sometimes LOL.

    Yes unfortunately, the Lewis Grand hotel owner Lewis Yakich probably was the victim to an uncooperative kidnapping.. He was last seen November 2015, try asking Mr Adrian he surely knows what happened to the American owner of the nicest hotel in Pampanga. Thx4share Anne and ChubsDubC 👍

      @@chubsDubC It was a hostile takeover as in Lewis went to a business meeting and never returned...as in sleeps with the fishes. Everyone is fearful of talking about that story. There are many other stories of the dark side of Angeles City...I doubt you will cover them.

    • @Dabayare
      @Dabayare 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That old violent takeover where they kidnap you, make you sign papers and then burry you, sometimes including the whole family so they would say "he went back to live in USA..".

    Hi Chad, Lewis Grand hotel was amazing! Wow....didn't expect that. And the apartment for the price looked really good. I liked there were a limited number of units there. I see why you eat at Balibago.....looked awesome! I truly love you and Anne together. I think you both are well suited for each other. Take care buddy 👍👍👍

    Had a wedding reception at the Lewis Grand Hotel and stayed there back in 2013. It is a very Grand hotel, Great rooms, Pool, dining, etc. I remember it closing down shortly after Pandemic started. If they open it back up, you should check it out for sure. Later

    Lewis Grand has an interesting story... Lots of rumors without facts.. 2 Stories I've heard. Lewis went to Thailand and hasn't been seen since.. And the other story is much darker and probably more correct.

    If you come across a place for rent semi-furnished or furnished like to be around 10,000 and 13,000 pesos a month pool be a plus keep me in mind .coming November 4 to at least December 5 and optional four more months to make sure this is the place in the Philippines I like to . Thanks

    • @chubsDubC
      @chubsDubC  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      👍
      usually that price is unfurnished or it could be rather outdated or run down
      i will keep an eye out though 👍
      the hotels i noted earlier will be a litl more expensive then some but they place you right in the thick of it to truly experience this city up close

      Yes it really was it was awesome time in my life. The room back than was only like 62 dollars with breakfast on Agoda. I only heard little about the Lewis guy he's first name was Lewis I think he was a phil-am. He disappeared a few months before we stayed the story I heard he always carried a lot cash on him and he got robbed and murdered they found his body later a very sad story.
