For the finish on the Delorean, I wonder if gloss black primer and built up coats of stainless or aluminum paint would give you the base. Then sand in one direction from front to back. Not sure what grit would work best, test piece it. Or metal film and attempt the sanding idea on that. Just a thought. Good luck to you. .

The Delorean would probably have to be painted by hand instead of an airbrush.
