If I were speaking at Alabama, I would have to use smaller words and shorter sentences," said Brokaw. There's plenty of discussion both for and against Brokaw's comments, but they're not sitting well with many people in Tuscaloosa. The University of Alabama sent the following statement Sunday night: "Thirty-six percent of the freshman class at the University of Alabama has an ACT score of 30 or higher.
