After the first half, Ole Miss didn't skip a beat the rest of the season. A near flawless second half, then a 5 game win streak, then beating a top 10 Texas Tech team by 13 points in the Cotton Bowl. Ended the season in the top 15. A lot of people recognize 2015 as the best Ole Miss team of the past 10 years, but I personally think it was the 2008 team.
As intelligent as Daniel bowling's comment was, I agree with EJH UM. After the bumps in the road and the upset of Florida, this became a very dangerous team. They played very loose and with a lot of confidence. They had a good deal of talent too, particularly at wide receiver.
I was at this game and about to puke during that last drive. Sneed kept escaping the sacks, and I couldn't breathe easy until the 4th down pass hit the ground.
That 2008 signing class changed everything at Alabama. In 2020 there are 6 players out of that signing class still playing in the NFL.
Pretty amazing

I agree they were good, but they also lost to Vandy & Wake.

And Wake was a pretty good team that year.

RIP Snead.
9:40...............there's a rumor that Mike McCoy is still standing at the back of the endzone with his finger pointed to the sky.
