I couldn't keep my eyes off warewolf Geoff either. This was hilarious and an awesome production. Love seeing Kathy having a cameo here too. Your reactions are fantastic.
That's Kathy. Geoff Busting his moves. Props to his choreographer. Great foley sound effects. Great arrangement. Geoff far-right does the Floss at the end. Geoff on the left is Dracula, Geoff in the middle is the Wolfman, Geoff with the chain I think is the Frankenstein monster.
They had to do it over due to issues. There was supposedly better pro makeup on the first one. He was not available to do the redo. That is, seriously, Kathy doing her best.
@@Iansco1 I heard that Kathy did the makeup and it was made at Layne's place. :)
That's why I love Voiceplay and Home Free. Because not only are they amazing vocally, but often add so much of their humourous side.
Kathy showed up with the rest of the families at the end of Daddy Sang Bass, and also in the aside during Walk Like A Man in Boybands in 5 Minutes. But I think this is her first appearance on Geoff's channel. It's nice to see her on this side of the camera for a change!

I laughed all the way through watching the version shown to Patrons, showing all the dancing. Hilarious. Love that you love it too. But hey, you said you were ready for it. LOL I've also see people saying they think he overdoes it and why does he do it? Why? Because he can :)

I think it's the funniest one he's done. I just couldn't stop laughing.
So he can sing with unbelievable vocal range and he can dance, it's just not fair.
Left to Right: Dracula, Wolfman (scratching at his fleas periodically LOL), and Frankenstein's Monster. Kathy did the makeup for this version as there were technical problems with the original, full-makeup shoot and the makeup artist wasn't available for the re-shoot. This is one of the best videos ever!
Geoff and Kathy certainly had fun with this. Very clever and well done! It takes someone comfortable in their own skin to open themselves up for critique. Loved your enjoyment of the video.

I so agree with you, middle Geoff monster, Wolfie I think, was so hilarious. No matter how hard I try to watch the others my eyes always go back to him. I also love the expression on scientist Geoff's face when he leans back away from Dracula monster.

I believe the narrator is supposed to be Dr Frankenstein, with Dracula, them Wolfman, then Frankenstein's monster filling out the lineup. And of course, Kathy is his lovely dance partner.
I can't count how many times I've seen your reaction to this. You laughing right off the bat as it started...and how you dance along to all the moves just makes me laugh so much. This is one of my favorite reactions 🙌
Dennis, I decided to watch this on my break at work and omg I busted out laughing at this video. Had to watch like 4 times to catch everything. Geoff really outdid himself on this one!

This was the first Geoff/VP I ever heard. It showed up on my TH-cam list. Since I have always loved the song, I had to hear it. Had to find more so Hoist the Colours. I've never been the same. Then I found out there were reactors. You were a regular poster so you were one of my first reactors and you were fun because laughter and amazement bubble up so easily.
The monsters dancing we're filmed with the music playback speed at 70-75% (-ish). Afterwards, the video of them dancing to 75% speed music is sped up to match the normal speed of the song, which is why it looks... the way it does. It's a neat trick! (but must be weird to perform the song at 75% speed)

Each of the dance moves represents one of the classic monsters. Frankenstein (arms outstretched), Wolfman (howling at the moon), Dracula (behind his cape) and The Mummy (wrapped in bandages, arms across the chest). As the song progresses the moves become more elaborate.

You made me appreciate this even more, that jerky motion does kinda freak me out, but seeing it through your eyes made if more fun and less creepy.

The thing that blows me away about this video is that... a little while ago, I had actually watched a live performance of the song Monster Mash, and my entire family was just blown away by how cartoonish the singer's facial expressions were throughout it. I then went to Geoff's website and sent him a message through his site, suggesting that he cover this song... and then when I saw him announce this on tiktok... I was just like... "Did he take my suggestion?!? SERIOUSLY?!?" I have no idea if it was my suggestion that sparked this one for him, but still... I'm... kind of blown away by this.
addendum: his patrons had already voted for him to do Monster Mash XD still, it's kinda crazy!

The one in the middle is Wolfman.... he is scratching fleas. They all stay in character while they are dancing.

Middle one is the Wolfman. He said this is the redo of the original take...in which he had killer make up on. But the original was very difficult to edit so he did his own work on his own time on very little sleep. Said that is why he looks so dead...I was watching the premiere and Geoff was commenting to people's comments.

OK, I’m about to say something that might make me unpopular. I love this, but I hope his next vids go back to focusing more on SINGING rather than just hitting wickedly low notes. He has an amazing voice. I want to hear that. Low notes mixed in-sure, but SING, dude! It’s so GOOD when you do!!
