Only item I would add is blunt point bandage shears. I had a leg wound that was wrap with coband. The nurse ing home did not even have bandage shears. So now have a go to hospital bag ready to grab . Include items for your comfort. Underwear. Glasses. Pen and paper to take notes on every person that takes care of you on what day and time and what was done. Longest phone charge cord. Wipes washcloths because you do not know how dirty hospital washcloths are. Personal care items. Gum. A knit hat to keep the bright lights out of your eyes so you can sleep. Earphones so you can listen and not bother other folks I also like to simple handcrafts and put in ziplock bag If a lockdown happens where ever you are you will be a lot more comfortable.
Thank you for your concern for our well-being! I'm ordering most of this list,. Only problem is that the digit tourniquets have been discontinued, and I could not find another brand. Any suggestions?
Whoa - well done! How is it possible that you have ONLY 1k views in the past 9 mos? This is a wonderful service that you’ve done to offer this list. Oddly enough, I came to this video because I liked your chicken video. 🤣🐓 I placed a medical supply order thru Amazon yesterday with the intent of just building up my gauze supply. You just shared a WEALTH of good ideas. I live alone, got animals, got garden tools that resemble weapons 🤣 and….i’m old and don’t have good balance anymore. I tripped on my cement driveway a couple of weeks ago. I did wound care on my dog yesterday (she removed my bandaging, of course). So, YES, we all need to be prepared for all kinds of weird bruises and boo-boo’s. I need to review my meds for chickens and meat rabbits as well. Sigh. And then organize everything. I also looked into taking a First Aid class and noted that Red Cross offers classes online. That might be a good start for me. They even offer a dog & cat 1st aid class! I’m liking that saline solution you showed…..will add to my shopping list. A sincere THANK YOU!
Check out the local TSC for coband, animal version of quick stop to help stop bleeds, among a few other awesome items. Injectable lidocaine I only ever found in dental stuff but definitely lidocaine patches & creams are available 4% and definitely some Voltaren or diclofenac type NSAID topical pain reliever…
Please post a video about over the counter drugs that can be used as a substitute for prescription drugs in a shtf situation.
YOU ROCK!!! I was missing a handful of these. I’m grateful thank you. ❤
Cayenne and yarrow also work for bleed stop.
I loved this video!! Ordering a couple of these items to complete my kit.

Thank you for the information. Much appreciated that you took the time.
As a CPhT, I'd recommend the Tarascon Pocket Pharmacopeia for drug info, it's great. Good list.

This was so helpful for me. Thank you! My only potential add on would be Instant cold packs.

You need plain old honey to prevent infection. Nothing can grow in honey
Great list
That book is 9yrs old. It would be great for emergency but it wouldn't be current.

Now if I can remain conscious long enough to get it bandaged...
Q - what’s your opinion on Clozex Laceration Repair Kit vs Butterfly Bandage? Up to 1.5” Looks effective to my novice eyes.
Pros: They're extremely effective, quick & easy to apply. Cons: expensive. About 4/$20
@@ethereal369 thank you! I rather like the term “effective”!
I bought the 2013
If there are no doctors, there likely will be few drugs too right?
2013 is valid. 2024 is political so it is not necessarily valid.
Political?
