Are you starting a print-on-demand business? What questions do you have about setting up the tech?

I have tons of designs made in canva which I can transfer to print full but what if I don’t want to use Shopify and use another platform. My question is… which others are good to go with? I’m not that tech savvy so I’m going to have a problem doing it. Seems like a lot of steps. I may have to hire someone to help me. It’s so overwhelmimg for me. I’m an artist and I do that part well but that’s it. I’ve been in limbo for years when I could have been making money. As long as I’m cranking out the designs, that’s great, I just need to find someone to put it all together.

Thank you, this was great! I didn’t realize some of the little things, like the favicon, that add a lot to making the page feel more official.

I found your video very useful and I am getting closer to opening a Shopify store using Printful. One question I had was how did you end up deciding on your pricing since, as you pointed out, the shipping, fees, and taxes weren't a part of the price-setting table? Thanks.

Hi Smart Money Mamas! Must admit I'm commenting before finishing the video but what if i already have a website and domain and just want to add a shopify and printful shop to my current page?

Thank you for the tutorial. Got one question: I noticed you filled out the product details, prices, etc on the Printful page instead of the Shopify page. Which one is preferable? Would having both be a conflict? Thanks in advance. Your video is extremely helpful.

it's easy until It becomes unresponsive when using OWN design and you are looking for settings like delete and save and they are not available. Then we find that we need another app as the tools are not available, so kittl appears on the budget. After subbing to another two places, canva and Microsoft and NOW your ready. The pricing is off the charts and if we put up the profit, the postage is dearer? how does that work out? Did the garment become heavier? It could be really great, but its not. The pre made patterns are really bad, and if you actually have designing training or natural artist like myself who have both.

Where can we get the mock up banner that you have on your website? I’ve literally spent hours researching trying to figure out where to get it. Thanks!

I made it myself in Canva! You can use the transparent mockups that you can download with Printful to set it up :)

While I appreciate the time and effort you put into this video, it misses a lot of information that is necessary for hooking up your Printful app to your Shopify store, such as the entire process of hooking the shirt to Shopify. You missed major steps in there. Thank you anyway, I still might be able to use this video.

Printful is absolutely horrible NEVER EVER use them if you want to build a legitimate business. They are impossible to deal with. Way too many shipping issues and they always find an excuse not to send a replacement or issue a refund even though the deadlines have long surpassed the date given, even when the label is the issue which they create. They will always find a way not to help. You are left with angry customers bashing your store because of the greed and incompetence of Printful. They are awful and I am now replacing all my prints. Trust me just don't do it.

I'm so sorry you've had a negative experience!
Our shipping times have generally been quite quick (a customer just received a t-shirt she ordered in only 2 days - which is quicker than normal) and any time we've had a quality or mix-up issue, it's been quite easy to resolve.
I hope you find a better fit for you :)
