We have obesity issues in the UK, but the USA seem so proud of their portion sizes it's small wonder they have a "bigger" issue with it than us. God bless the UK for keeping a close eye on not just prortion sizes, but the ingredient lists for these takeaways.
In USA, I want 6 chicken nuggets with ketchup. ❤
I think it's more something we joke about being proud of than actually being proud of TvT

You would have a good surprise trying to eat in EU ^^
When I went to France, I asked a coffee and didn't mention the size, I got a tiny tiny cup and was quite pissed of ^^
At least, you learn then know what to ask.
We also have a lot of drunk Americans in the center of the city, because they don't pay attention to the % of alcohol in beverages, then sip 10+% beers and gt Ko-ed quickly ^^
And when you tap into more special beers, it goes from 12% to 35% 🤣
It’s like that at WhataBurger in Texas. The drinks are enormous!
No wonder they're so good lol. I've given up on french fries from restaurants a long time ago. If I want freis, i make them at home in the oven or sometimes on the stove top if it's summer and I don't wanna turn the oven on. Good thing I just like McDonald's breakfast.

Yea yea love it yea diabetes yea yea
Almost bigger then large
The US medium is bigger than the large UK ... And now I know why a guy from the US came in the Pub I was working in and asked for a free fill of Cola in his own cup that was around 33 fl Oz (it looked like 1 L)... when I said that it's not possible he mentioned that in the US it's ok :)
shamkand. The food industries in the US works to make people addicted to their food products through sugar from a young age(since putting drugs in food is no longer a thing unless you want to get sued). They then load food with sugar and sugar products.
Over 80 (or 80% of) food items in grocery stores have added sugar products in them. Eating less healthy stuff SEEM cheaper, and that's not including the portions. Gas stations and rest stops are basically a mini convince store with the vending machines and/or having junk food at the checkout counter.
I could go on for longer but long story short, the food industry wants money and don't care about people and how they get it.
Here's some more information from a free documentary. th-cam.com/video/ceRFvhlcsiY/w-d-xo.html
I'd post more but lots of sites with science and studies to back them up have been taken down. About calories, obesity, sugar, etc. You name it.

The best McDonald's meals I ever had were actually while living overseas in China (I'm an American). The sole reason being that they also offered thick, juicy angus beef patties there. For just fries
Yeah it says lot about American eating habits.
The US has scones to. And scones are nothing like biscuits. Unless UK's scones are different??? US biscuits are savory, often buttery and salty, with crumbling layers. It is a fairly simple bread. In many areas you will find biscuits as a meal served with gravy. Typically white gravy with pepper or ground pork sausage pieces mixed in. Some people do put sweet jams, jellies, or honey on their biscuits. But that is actually somewhat rare or depends on the biscuit or mood of the eater.
I have made a recipe for us “biscuits” and can confirm they are literally just uk scones. Sweeter than most British scones maybe. But that’s the only difference
Would be interested in what you call scones
@@WhichDoctor1 I don't know when other people started to add sugar to their biscuit recipes. I don't ever recall sugar in any of my biscuits. Try looking up a "two ingredient" cream biscuit or a buttermilk biscuit recipe. Biscuits should not be sweet, unless you add something to it after baking. Yes, a scone is similar. But they are sweetened and their consistency is more cake like rather than flaky biscuit like.
@@WhichDoctor1 We don't really call anything scones. Except for maybe New England, they might call our biscuits scones, since they still have some words leftover.

Seven thats just wrong... EU regulations are the reason. A lot of stuff you have in your food is restricted in the EU. Your food has nothing to do with „experimenting“, your company’s make money by putting in cheap (also stuff that’s just worse for your body) shit in your food in order to get more profit. Also it’s not healthy what so ever but if you got 500+ calories more in your food it’s more unhealthy. Everybody knows that „a bit unhealthy“ is okay. Thanks you i love ur content ❤️ and can u guys make US VS UK Fanta
as much as I hate the “all Americans have diabetes” this kinda concerns me.
Portions are too Big in the usa. Every tourist fatten up when they visit the country.
I’m not. There’s a surprising amount of people who don’t eat this.
Wrong I don’t
I love when the rich Europeans make fun of Americans for being poor
@@wpprodpyc9266 but fat Americans are nicer than the skinny ones
the hydrolyzed part is the worst part, it's a type of fat that's illegal in the UK because your body cannot digest it
Only until 2021. It's an EU law. Boris and buddies will be making ££££ from that being imported along with Rees Mogg and chlorinated chicken, antibiotic beef etc. 😔
@@1976nf I'm gonna move back into the EU as soon as I'm old enough lol
@@1976nf thankfully they now said they are rejecting that proposal! Hopefully they don’t change their minds

Isn’t that simply trans fat?
I’ve not had my lunch yet and this video is just making me hungry
In the uk for exclusive items you missed out the chicken selects which are AMAZING
So you're saying our large drink is smaller than their medium?!?
Yes g
Yes, but I think that's what the term 'small' looks like
renae crawshaw no our medium is larger than your large
ChickenSlayer 420 yeah that’s what he said
HELL YEAH BRUUUTHER
Why the US guy so proud of how unhealthy it is 😂😂
😂
Satire
Bruh get used to it, it’s a fast food place. Not a diner.
Because people from Europe never shut up about it
@@dantraxler you saw the amount of unnecessary chemicals fast food places are feeding Americans right? How the hell do you guys get over it? Speak up. Americans are eating chemicals banned in Europe
I tried the Big Mac sauce today with a cheeseburger from McDonald’s it was so good 😊
Why am I watching this at 3 am I'm not even American or British!
Do you have a McDonald’s where you live and if so what is it like? Like America or Britain or something completely new and different. :)
same here! lol
I'm half American and it's amusing to me how racist people are to Americans some are even racist to their own kind! Isn't it funny how being racist to Americand is normal and being racist to any other country/race is bad?
@@justapersonlastname8yearsa109 i dont think most of us mean it as racist, we just like to see what you do in your country and chat about things we find weird.
Creepykid And Infinite Dreams IM ASIAN
love how this video turned into a bunch of people from the UK and US arguing.
Internet is the only place we can argue. If we did it in real life the American would just get too wet hearing our accent 😉
Preach 🙌
James Patterson bruh

[ stan stray kids ] omg love your username and Felix is babyyyy
A quick note at the MC I was recently here in the UK they gave me a Sweet and Source sause
I rarely goes to MC'D one of the reason being I cant park there with a 50 feet truck and trailer, when I do its only to get a milkshake.
I would much rather go to a diner, steakhouse or proper burger restaurant. You wait the same time to get your meal because there is always a long line at McDonald's.
This in EU BTW.
When the us small is nearly the same size as a uk large......
I don’t know how anyone could have a us large 😭 I feel like I can’t move after having a uk large
Josefa u don’t drink it all at once. I put mines in the fridge and have it the next day. I get Medium I’m able to drink it all if I’m really hungry
Josefa I could drink like 5 in a row and I’m not even fat so 😂
Lmaooooo
The Large is so big, I just get a happy meal
UK 🇬🇧: Manage diabetes
US 🇺🇸: Are motto is go fat or go home.
*roll home
*Go fat and go home
PG GRIFFIN Go obese or drive home in your truck and get obese from your fridge.
Surprised nobody corrected ur grammar
It’s ‘our’ not ‘are’

@Belvita Bar i mean look at what he has to deal with. Listening to someone who is effectively proud of diabetes would grate on any intelligent persons sanity over time.
