David Gossage in Montreal produced this and chose the singers. He plays flute in the production too. It's funny, except for one of us, who's a legit Celtic singer, the three or four others of us are expert singers in Bach and Handel or cassical contemporary music etc. We had a total blast recording this, which was done under great time-preassure in fact. We've done a few AC games, (more or less the same crew), because apparently we can sing what-ever you WANT! :D It's been a great ride, exploring a lot historical popular music.

32:51 Roll, Boys, roll - this song is just to damm fun to sing along with them hahaha
Omg I have always loved this shanty but I forgot the name, thank you for posting the time lol
Ну что не ждал ответа? Тем более на русском ну вспомни себя 5 лет назад хорошее было время не забудь послушать randy randy oh
these are all great songs and the courus is spot on, this is what kept me in the game
Due to the covid-19 quarantines, this has become a way of life to maintain sanity. Ubisoft has no idea the good they put out into the universe with Black Flag.
to this day still the best Assassins creed in the franchise, and the only one i can continuously replay. tired of being an assassin? be a bloodthirsty pirate. tired of the high seas? be an assassin
Johnny sure was popular.
It’s what they called fellow crew members back then btw I love your username
Padstows farewell, lowlands away, roll boys roll. Top 3 forsure
43:33 why's there a drunk guy layered overtop in this version?
ColdSpark824 Don't think that's layered, probably drowned out by the others in game through.
+ColdSpark824 JAJAJAJAJAJJAJJA
ColdSpark824 the thing I am confused about, is I think I have seen this video in the past and that one guy way off-key may not have been there in the past.
hahahah it is true
No this is Patrick!!
Thank you! I love Assassin's Creed and now that I can listen to the best songs! THANKS!
Great songs. Well sung.
EDDDWARD WHY
Only the best from your crew
Captain where is the brig?
To be honest, Kenway, you gotta up your game with parkour, you get stuck trying to climb up a pile of baskets.
Am I the only one who thought Padstows Farewell was one of the best? I loved the mans voice and how genuine it sounds. Was my fav to hear while playing
lowlands away makes me want to be drunk as shit and cry my eyes out
I too looked this up almost specifically for Lowlands Away. Makes me happy to see so many others enjoyed it too.
lowlands 😍
I could listen to these all day
Came for 32:51, got so much more. Sick plays m80.
David Ntuli sounds like tobuscus
Good job uploading these, probably best part about the game lol
Lowlands away is my favorite.
ohmygawd i actually read the lyrics to lowlands away, i loved it because it always made me feel so nostalgic but when i read the lyrics i started crying
I like drunken sailor
Christopher Goldsborough lock him in the brig until he's sober!
These made manually travelling EVERWHERE EVERYTIME, instead of using the fast travel feature, made every moment an absolute delight. I spent more time being a Pirate than I spent being an assassin... kinda did most of the pirate stuff before I did the story lmao
10/10 wish they had another game like this
These are better with the sound of a ship sailing through the sea while waves crash against the hull!
Stormalong John is my favorite....... There's something about the cadence that you just can't shake.
Notice how every comment is from a time when the world was good.
Lowlands Away and Padstow's Farewell are my favorites
Oh , Do Me Johnny Boker!!!
Lol that's my jam. Lol
I be whipping hard..on beat at times.😂😂
UniqueMonique513 ... What?
Gabe Newell it went straight over your head. NOTHING
+UniqueMonique513 lol your comment is the second one i read about whipping or nae naeing
20:15 best one.
my favorite is fish in the sea
Same
Goodbye fare ye well and lowlands are my favourite
Now sea shanties are trending. Just know everyone here knew they were lit first
I'm gonna watch someone play this game right now I can't get enough of it.
