Thank you for this Special needs parents need all the hope they can get since there is little to NONE in the medical community. My son has special needs and since we began actively declaring healing scriptures over him and spending time with God and asking Him how he can be healed, we have seen a marked difference that has even been noticeable to his teachers. We expect his full healing to manifest and will NOT come into agreement with theology that tries to explain away disappointment with hopelessness.
Thank you! You are completely and utterly RIGHT! I have Autism myself, and it is part of who we are, and is in our DNA Structure. There is no such thing as a 'CURE'. The only 'cure' we have is Understanding. The symptoms can be challenging, but we make up for that in other different skills. and It is the way we deal with it that counts. I have a GREAT long term memory and is my super-power. I reckon this is from God, but not in the way Christians are portraying it. Autism is not a burden, it is a blessing. I am pleased I am on the High Functioning end of the spectrum too! I am a 21 Year young, Woman of God, and I see Autism as one of the most puzzling but amazing experiences I have. I treat my Autism positively and use it to my advantage. I am Thankful To God that it isn't any worse than some who are at the lower end of the spectrum to me. It is also to do with the Perfectly unique and individual person who has it. I mean, if I was lower end of the spectrum, I would have probably a different experience, perspective and understanding entirely, and who is to say they are not making the most of their lives. They may not understand much, but you can still be Happy! Like me! I have accepted my condition and accepted it as part of who I am. I am not ashamed, but very proud of what I have achieved with my Autism! ASD is a Blessing, People shouldn't treat it as a curse, as how is it going to help those with Autism in need? I work with students with severe autism and sometimes I question healing I pray for it but I wonder what we are praying for when we pray for healing because my experience is that people who have autism are incredibly prophetic and some I know have fore told pregnancies and feel things way before Ido. I desire for parts of the autistic mind to be healed and that as Chris said they could manage socially and communicate more easily but part of the way there brains are wired and some behaviours means they experience the father and creation in a way I never will. Id like to know your thoughts ? I believe totally if it's Gods will he will heal .
Sounds interesting. You have to understand that everyone is individual so each one of us will experience God in our own ways through his will. Having Autism is just something we have got. Our senses are heightened because of something called Sensory sensitivity and I suppose it may be more intense. God's love is unconditional and individual to us all. I believe the healing should be making things easier for is to communicate with other people and other social skills. Why would God heal me of something that he gave me as a gift? ^_^ why would it be on this earth if it was a mistake? Nature and God doesn't make mistakes, it is a positive attitude towards it that counts. Different but not defined by Autism. People should stop 'diss'ing the ability ^_^ humans make mistakes and cast out wrong judgement when really God made us in his image and judgement is reserved for him and him alone. We are perfect in HIS eyes and in HIS will. There is nothing wrong with Autism. It just means the individual that has got it may need more support depending in their needs. I would say the healing would be making things easier for the individual with ASD and those clise to them AND I believe sensory sensitivity for me has intensified my relationship with God and really the while condition in general.

Yeah Autism is just a different way of thinking and social interaction. Now obviously there are extreme forms of Autism. Non verbal, self harming ect. So Autism is a wide spectrum
@Perry Winkle True. But there are ways to communicate besides moving your mouth and using your vocal chords. Example, ASL. There are also Apps on cell phones that help with communication as well. Yeah, It's not all 100% sunshine and rainbows, but it can be managed. And there are ways for a non-verbal autistic person to communicate besides speech.

I have Autism, but I'm happy God made me who I am because it's for a reason! I also have epilepsy and other ailments. I wanted to get this out there, because I proclaim this from the rooftops that I am His. Let me be who God made me to be. I embrace my struggles and I praise Jesus for every milestone! My wife has autism and is amazing. She doesn't need healing, she needs acceptance, just like you. Find the strength your autism gives you. Everyone has weaknesses, and that is ok. Nobody is perfect. I bet your good outweighs your bad, and I promise autism is not a flaw. Keep your head up, and focus on your good.

As an christian with autism it digusts me that we are treated as a disease by our fellow Christians. God made us that way, it's not a horrible disease we get like cancer.
I think when listening to this amazing testimony, I might know what the smell of fish was. I am hoping to pray for my daughter who has autism to bring this shalom to her mind. The thought suddenly came to me about omega 3 fish oil we were recommended to give her which honestly stinks. It is meant to help with the neurons connection which are not properly connected so when I heard about the smell I saw a flood of fish oil released in the healing process, what was done in the spirit manifesting in the physical along with the healing

The logical side of my brain is fully developed and the social Communicational and emotional regulation part are not. It’s a genetic mutation in the utero stage of development in the womb.

I see a lot of "my baby has been cursed" "I ask forgiveness for whatever I did to make my baby have autism" etc etc like its a plague when no, it's genetic, and those lines of thinking are bad to the kid's mental health. However, he can also use your father in his state for his purpose while having the "cognitive reasoning of a 14 year old". The Lord can still use him for his glory like that as much as he can without those disabilities.

Your autism does not keep you from being a woman of God. Do not believe anyone who says that it separates you from God. It is simply a brain that works differently. Please, in addition to praying, find a therapist who specializes in autism to help you develop strategies for your hurdles. To use a parable, do not bury your money in the field, but actively work to multiply it for a greater reward. Prayer is good, but prayer alongside action is better. Use the knowledge that people are praying for you not as some hope that you'll be miraculously "cured" without any effort, but as encouragement in your journey of learning how to navigate in a world that wasn't designed for you and works to try to knock you down, in part with the notion that your autism makes you less of a woman of God. Do not be discouraged.
God will make way and opportunity. Humankind should act on it. What ever the mode of healing if you believe, it will heal medically/ technologically and religiously.

It's completely horrific that anyone would use religion to justify condemning people to Hell for things that are a part of them, like autism and sexual orientation. autism is a wiring of the brain. It's not a sickness. Now if someone cannot speak or is so severe that simple stimulus causes them actual pain, then pray God helps them in those areas. It's not a curse it's genetics. It's not something that you need to ask forgiveness for, much like you wouldn't ask forgiveness for blue eyes. It may seem like a curse because of how modern society is not suited for autistic people, but back in biblical times when it was important to have members of a smaller society highly specialized in different crafts to work together, the autistic trait to hyperfocus and have special interests would have been very beneficial.
Lord, we know you have a will for Sam's life. Same goes for Asha. Lord, I pray that you give Asha peace and allow her to put her trust in You. Use her to build your kingdom. Giver her peace, Lord, for we know how much of a struggle it is, not only to have Autism, but to be a family member of someone with Autism. Lord I pray you give her peace and allow your will to be done in her life. And Lord I also pray for her son, Sam who has Autism. As we know, Autism is not an easy thing to have. But allow him to improve. And let your will be done. If your will is to cure him of Autism, let it be so, for there is nothing you can't do. Question for all my siblings in Christ. Would God still be Good if your child still has Autism? Would God still be Holy if he allowed the symptoms of Autism to improve but not get rid of it entirely? Would you still worship God if your child stayed disabled or would you lose your faith in him entirely? Is it Hard? Absolutely. This is the kind of thing that makes me lose faith in Christianity. Autism isn't something to be healed. It makes me think that God would just send me to Hell because apparently people aren't supposed to be autistic. Maybe trying communicating to actually autistic people, low and high support, before you try to "heal" them of a disorder that's not gonna slowly kill them like cancer is.

As a happy, doing great in life, AUTISTIC adult, I find this disgusting. Autism is a fundamental aspect of my life and how my physical brain is WIRED. Dont like autism? You dont like any of us. We would not be the same people if autism was abolished. Why are you being so scientific about whether it's a disease or not? How many times have scientists been proven wrong? Will you believe them or in the God who created us? The church needs to come to an understanding of autism. I think its wrong to make a blanket statementof I hate autism. There are many good things that come from autism as well as bad. For the parents Lord, I pray they strengthen their faith in you as their Savior. And I may not know their struggles Lord, but you do. I pray that if there are parents that are struggling with raising a disabled child, I pray that you give them peace and allow them to have help for their child and to trust in you. As for the children Lord, I pray that if it is your will to cure them, let it be so. Let your will be done. For we know you still do miracles to this day. But Lord, if it is part of your will for them to be disabled here while on Earth, I pray that you allow them to get the help they need to live with it better. Thank you for this Special needs parents need all the hope they can get since there is little to NONE in the medical community. My son has special needs and since we began actively declaring healing scriptures over him and spending time with God and asking Him how he can be healed, we have seen a marked difference that has even been noticeable to his teachers. We expect his full healing to manifest and will NOT come into agreement with theology that tries to explain away disappointment with hopelessness.

The only 'cure' we have is Understanding. The symptoms can be challenging, but we make up for that in other different skills. and It is the way we deal with it that counts. I have a GREAT long term memory and is my super-power. I reckon this is from God, but not in the way Christians are portraying it. Autism is not a burden, it is a blessing. I am pleased I am on the High Functioning end of the spectrum too! I am a 21 Year young, Woman of God, and I see Autism as one of the most puzzling but amazing experiences I have. I treat my Autism positively and use it to my advantage. I am Thankful To God that it isn't any worse than some who are at the lower end of the spectrum to me. It is also to do with the Perfectly unique and individual person who has it. I mean, if I was lower end of the spectrum, I would have probably a different experience, perspective and understanding entirely, and who is to say they are not making the most of their lives. They may not understand much, but you can still be Happy! Like me! I have accepted my condition and accepted it as part of who I am. I work with students with severe autism and sometimes I question healing I pray for it but I wonder what we are praying for when we pray for healing because my experience is that people who have autism are incredibly prophetic and some I know have fore told pregnancies and feel things way before Ido. I desire for parts of the autistic mind to be healed and that as Chris said they could manage socially and communicate more easily but part of the way there brains are wired and some behaviours means they experience the father and creation in a way I never will. Id like to know your thoughts ? I believe totally if it's Gods will he will heal .
Sounds interesting. You have to understand that everyone is individual so each one of us will experience God in our own ways through his will. Having Autism is just something we have got. Our senses are heightened because of something called Sensory sensitivity and I suppose it may be more intense. God's love is unconditional and individual to us all. I believe the healing should be making things easier for is to communicate with other people and other social skills. Why would God heal me of something that he gave me as a gift? ^_^ why would it be on this earth if it was a mistake? Nature and God doesn't make mistakes, it is a positive attitude towards it that counts. Different but not defined by Autism. People should stop 'diss'ing the ability ^_^ humans make mistakes and cast out wrong judgement when really God made us in his image and judgement is reserved for him and him alone. We are perfect in HIS eyes and in HIS will. There is nothing wrong with Autism. It just means the individual that has got it may need more support depending in their needs. @Perry Winkle True. But there are ways to communicate besides moving your mouth and using your vocal chords. Example, ASL. There are also Apps on cell phones that help with communication as well. Yeah, It's not all 100% sunshine and rainbows, but it can be managed. And there are ways for a non-verbal autistic person to communicate besides speech.

I have Autism, but I'm happy God made me who I am because it's for a reason! I also have epilepsy and other ailments. I wanted to get this out there, because I proclaim this from the rooftops that I am His. Let me be who God made me to be. I embrace my struggles and I praise Jesus for every milestone! I just recently celebrated getting my motor vehicle learners' permit. The next will be graduating college!!

I think when listening to this amazing testimony, I might know what the smell of fish was. I am hoping to pray for my daughter who has autism to bring this shalom to her mind. The thought suddenly came to me about omega 3 fish oil we were recommended to give her which honestly stinks. It is meant to help with the neurons connection which are not properly connected so when I heard about the smell I saw a flood of fish oil released in the healing process, what was done in the spirit manifesting in the physical along with the healing

However, he can also use your father in his state for his purpose while having the "cognitive reasoning of a 14 year old". The Lord can still use him for his glory like that as much as he can without those disabilities.

Your autism does not keep you from being a woman of God. Do not believe anyone who says that it separates you from God. It is simply a brain that works differently. Please, in addition to praying, find a therapist who specializes in autism to help you develop strategies for your hurdles. To use a parable, do not bury your money in the field, but actively work to multiply it for a greater reward. Prayer is good, but prayer alongside action is better. Use the knowledge that people are praying for you not as some hope that you'll be miraculously "cured" without any effort, but as encouragement in your journey of learning how to navigate in a world that wasn't designed for you and works to try to knock you down, in part with the notion that your autism makes you less of a woman of God. Do not be discouraged.

It's not a curse it's genetics. It's not something that you need to ask forgiveness for, much like you wouldn't ask forgiveness for blue eyes. It may seem like a curse because of how modern society is not suited for autistic people, but back in biblical times when it was important to have members of a smaller society highly specialized in different crafts to work together, the autistic trait to hyperfocus and have special interests would have been very beneficial.

1. "No one sees the world differently". Right. No one SEES the world differently unless they are colorblind but people with Autism EXPERIENCE the world differently. Heightened senses and deep empathy for some.

Absolutely. I'm not saying there aren't. But it can also lead to AMAZING gifts.

This is the kind of thing that makes me lose faith in Christianity. Autism isn't something to be healed. It makes me think that God would just send me to Hell because apparently people aren't supposed to be autistic. Maybe trying communicating to actually autistic people, low and high support, before you try to "heal" them of a disorder that's not gonna slowly kill them like cancer is.

Agree. Autism is a neurotype. He has no authority to say that autism is not from God. (If it's not from God, then he's saying its from the devil, or from some sin, or another favourite of these people is the unhealthy idea of generational curses ). Have nothing to do with those churches who preach this hate and ignorance, they will be creating an ableist culture in their church that condemns those considered "not whole".

As a happy, doing great in life, AUTISTIC adult, I find this disgusting. Autism is a fundamental aspect of my life and how my physical brain is WIRED. Dont like autism? You dont like any of us. We would not be the same people if autism was abolished. If Autism isn't of God, how come I (an autistic adult) can do things OF GOD such as help others, serve my community, be a great mom, and be a loving partner? This is absolutely disgusting and should be considered hate speech.

I know this video is from 8 years ago, but it needs to be taken down. I’m a Christian who is also autistic. Autism is a different neurotype, not a disease. In other words, God makes different types of brains. Instead of saying that autism is “not from God,” learn how to appreciate the different types of brains God makes.

I’m autistic too and the amount of misinformation about us is insane. On another video similar to this one, there was a comment saying “I hope Jesus drives this terrible evil away from my child” and it had 300 likes. It’s plain insulting to say that our mere brain structure is evil and undesirable.
God may heal the Christian Imperfectly in this life, but He will always heal the Christian perfectly when we are with him.

Do you understand how you turn people away from God when you say that their very existence is the work of the devil? Jesus didn't turn away people just because they are different, and neither should you.

Why are you being so scientific about whether it's a disease or not? How many times have scientists been proven wrong? Will you believe them or in the God who created us? God is the only one who is all knowing. Just accept that autism causes so many problems for the child and the family. That is not God's plan to cause a family to suffer. He wants people to live a normal and happy life free from these problems.

The church needs to come to an understanding of autism. I think its wrong to make a blanket statementof I hate autism. There are many good things that come from autism as well as bad. It could be a normal human state that others need to adapt to. Severe autism of course is very hard to handle.. That does need some kind of healing. We need more wisdom before making a judgment

This is a prayer for all of you parents who are here for prayers for a cure.
Lord, I come to you today to pray over these parents and their children. For the parents Lord, I pray they strengthen their faith in you as their Savior. And I may not know their struggles Lord, but you do. I pray that if there are parents that are struggling with raising a disabled child, I pray that you give them peace and allow them to have help for their child and to trust in you.
As for the children Lord, I pray that if it is your will to cure them, let it be so. Let your will be done. For we know you still do miracles to this day. But Lord, if it is part of your will for them to be disabled here while on Earth, I pray that you allow them to get the help they need to live with it better. I pray that their testimonies will be heard for we know you are still a Good Father even when you don't heal disabilities and we know that it is 100% possible for you to use their disabilities to your glory. I pray you also give them peace as well Lord, for we know it isn't easy to live with a disability. I pray for peace and I pray for your will be done. I pray this in your Good Holy Name. Amen.
