I never heard this song before now. I stumbled across this, and the dancing just floored me. And it made me really appreciate the song. I want my knees to be this flexible.
Spliced back and forth. The dancers bend over then stand up the faces change. They also dubbed out the sounds of their feet on the wooden stage. Can’t imagine what it took to train the dancers.
I saw this week for the first time the cdk version of course and it's addictive because of the dance flow. Thanks for reacting to it and now I'll have to watch it another 20 times lol joking. And the original singer's name is pronounced Go Tee A love it.
Also the 401 on CDK they are from Holland and have been on Holland gots talent and world of dance in Holland HGT last year ans W O D this year and did win Holland Gots Talent
@@AviarSavijon The way your comment fell, it looked like "Go Tee" and the "A" ended up on the next line. 😆 I like to do it how they do in dictionaries: Go-Tee-A. 😉 Wikipedia did it like this: Gotye (/ˈɡɒtiːeɪ/ GOTT-ee-ay) Oh and it drove me nuts too, until I heard someone pronounce it in another video. For @GeorgeTheCloud BTW, Gotye is a "stage name" for Wouter André "Wally" De Backer, who is a Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter. So a person, not a group. After this song became such a big hit, he didn't do another album like this, because he didn't want to be so famous, but he still does music with a band, but nothing else as Gotye. There's a YT video out there about it.

Yeah I wish my knees were this good too! This song was massive when it came out!
Sergio Reis choreographed CDK and also Mauro, Netherlands. Very original. Has won many dance competitions.
Thanks for the info Sheila!
Someone summed it up beautifully…it is as if Wes Anderson has directed a Bob Fosse creation..
I can see it, thanks Michael!
That’s a brilliant interpretation
Yes, the costumes evoke the '70s very strongly.
And also the environment and colors!
I'm a 70 year old artist . I've been obsessed with this dance video. Brilliant !
It's a great one for sure Susan!

Oh wow, very cool. I don't think I've ever seen Hollands Got Talent, don't know much about the country at all really.
The pronunciation was killing me haha

You are right @Aviar Savijon you’ll watch it 40 times (me too, don’t worry)
I think the loose clothing helps with all the movements.
I can imagine!
Muted colors. 70s style
Exactly Stephanie!
Not young Simon, though, he reminds young Art Garfunkel, the curly one with an angelic voice. :o) Thank you for your reaction.
Ah, that's the one I was thinking of, thanks!
Go-tee-ay :)
Got it!
Definitely no Fosse moves,please.
Got it!
